Days Inn Hillsborough, Hillsborough

I didn't like anything about this hotel, but the location. They had rude customer service people, dirty rooms and BEDBUGS! This was just the start. They had a hose pipe hooked rigged up to the side of the pool's railing along the steps! My aunt stayed in a room where the toilet overflowed and they expected for her to clean up the mess! The lady from the custodial staff told her, "you get it up". We were there on vacation and felt like we had to work to clean our own rooms up! Again, I say that this was an awful experience. If you want to pay for bedbugs, lack of customer service, and hot hallways, this is your hotel of choice!!!! The sad thing about it all was that customer service tried to say the bedbug was my fault. "Oh no, we don't have any bugs here", well how they heck did it get in my bed and keep crawling while I slept? And why was maintenance on their way up to my room with an exterminator's bug sprayer after we checked out? Disgusting! I put it in a cup and put that cup inside of a ziplock bag. That bug is still living! And, I am still itching! I am still waiting on the local manager to call me about my awful stay and we left on July 17th and today is the 20th.
