Super 8 Kansas City Airport, Kansas City

The Best Western Country Inn is in a very difficult situation because the staff is very friendly, but the facility is very old and in need of a complete overhaul. Our room was very musty smelling and there were stains on the furniture. The front desk called shortly after we had checked in and asked if all was well and I mentioned the smell and stains. They offered to move us to another room, but we were already for bed and I told them not to worry about it. The continental breakfast was quite a downer as there was not much variety. Bottom line, this place is great for close location to the airport and the staff friendliness, but the dumpiness really begs the question is it worth it. BD
