Great Hotel

This is a very nice place to stay if you're looking for a place that isn't expensive. The room was very nice, clean, beds were very comfortable. Service was great too

The room was clean and quiet. I was a little surprised that to get wireless internet I had to buy a prepaid card, but other than that, it was a nice stay. Red Roof is very close to main roads, grocery stores, etc.

We liked to stay there because the place is not directly along the highway, the few meter distance from the road make difference for the noise of traffic, first. Second, the rooms are clean and do not smell after smoke. The shower works ok. The price is affordable. You got a lot of efficient comfort for a reasonable price. The coffemachine brewed the best latte macchiato i had in a motel in 3 weeks journey. I also enjoyed the "lake wiew" from our room. And to ear and watch the many birds around. The employees at the reception are very kind and helpfull. It is a good Motel start in USA for individual traveller. The outside of the building (stairs, footpath,..) and the location/green/garden may need a new concept and restore. Well they can be improved to look better. We did not like the littering in the pond and in the nature behind the parking place. We really enojed our stay in Red Roof Inn, in Rochester, Detroit!

Always on my list

This is a newly remodeled property and the cleaning staff is excellent. The business king suites are the best value in the area. Large wrap around computer desk, fridge, big TV with HBO and PPV. Is it the Marriott... No but it is has a few more nice things and is only about $70 bucks a night. If you have not been to a Red Roof since the big remodeling push you need to check it out. This one at least is excellent in the category and I prefer it over the hotels you might say were a couple of notches above Red Roof in this area. If you work for or service DCX, VW or MSX in the Detroit area the location is very good. Essensially the intersection of 59 and 75.

Nice place to stay

I grew up in Rochester and recently went back to visit. There are not many hotels in the area and we were suprised how nice this Red Roof Inn was. It was newly remodeled and looked very nice. It was a comfortable, affordable place to stay where there aren't many options!
