Terrible business, possibly a scam!

This hotel was horrendous. The staff was extremely rude and VERY accommodating. I asked to speak to a manager and the man at the front desk refused to let me talk to him, claiming he was not there. I asked for his name and phone number and he still refused. I continued to complain and finally got to talk to the "unavailable" manager. The music was so loud in the lobby, we had to step outside to talk. Very little of them speak english and do not know how to conduct a proper business. When we tried to check into the Chesterfield, they claimed that our room was under construction. We had made the reservations two weeks in advanced and they failed to notify us in advance of this problem. They claimed to not have had any more rooms, yet their vacancy signs were on. They put us in Sunbrite apartments, which was in a residential and sketchy area, in a room with ONE BED, between four girls. Needless to say, we did not stay there and got our money back. These people do NOT know how to run a business and, I believe, are running a SCAM. If it weren't for us booking the rooms through Orbitz, we may not have got our money back. Please be weary and DO NOT stay with them or any of their sister hotels: Chelsea, Sunbrite apartments or Whitelaw hotels . They do NOT deserve your business because they are a bunch of rude crooks that don't care about customer loyalty.
