Snow Mountain Ranch, Winter Park

Service is terrible - just expect that you will have difficulty getting information over the phone, difficulty checking in and out, etc. Facilities are clean and the location is good. Too bad there aren't more accomodations that allow pets - it is a campground after all.

International staff at the reception desk struggled with basic English. They couldn't find our reservation... extremely frusterating when you have multiple families flying or driving great distances for a reunion. limited individual activities, few guided excursions, actually, it was quite boring... If you want to get away from it all, it's great, once you're checked into your cabin. The view of the mountains is great, though the pine beetles have really destroyed much of the forest.
