Quality Inn Monterey Beach Dunes, Marina

reservation was fast, easy, and reasonably priced. Staff was helpful and had great hair. Room and landscaping was pleasing. Will go back.

I read all the reviews on here after I had booked our room, so I was a little nervous on the way but once we got there I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms we had were nice. My husband loved the pillows, they were a little too soft for my taste but that's ok. The contenental breakfast was average. But the location is great. You are right down the street from a huge beautifull beach and there is everything you need close by. There's a Walmart, Denny's and lot's of other stores and restaraunts. All in all I had a great stay!

This was the worst hotel ever to stay in. The internet sight made it sound like there was a refrigerator & microwave in every room...nope. They didn't even have extra pillows. Made it sound like the hotel is on the beach and it is down the street. There was a hole in the bedspread. I put up the do not disturb sign all day and came back and the bed was made and there was obviously someone in our room. The hot and cold shower is never fun, it felt as though someone was flushing the toilet while we were taking a shower. When I checked in there was someone who came in looking for a price for te night and they quoted her a price 10.00 less than what we were charged, with a reservation. I called the front desk and they told me that these issues aren't anything we can do here at the sight and they gave me the corporate number to call. This place is horrible what ever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE.

for 50 dollars a night,who could complain,the room was clean,the hot tub was big and warm and clean,the place wasn't noisey,and it's right near the ocean... i'd stay there again,no problem...

I have to agree also that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I should have known when the minute I entered the lobby and was treated rudly by the employee behind the deak, that this was going to be a horrible experience. The room was small, the shower is even worse, because the shower curtain sticks to you when you use the shower, and inorder to use the desk lamp, you have to plug and unplug it, because there is no switches for it. I recommend to travelers that to avoid the Super 8, and pay a little extra for a nice hotel!!
