I have to remember that you get what you pay for and in San Diego room rates are high. The suite was clean at first glance but found beer caps and Bobbie pins on the carpet and not mine; tables were not wiped and I could see food particles not wiped up. The continental breakfast was not anything to write home about since there were only sugary buns, cold cereal and your typical waffle and the only fruit was a few oranges. The "suite" was roomy and having two bathrooms would have come in handy for more than one person. The bed was comfortable and with the TV running and a few Tylenol PM's I did get a fairly good night sleep. Would I stay here again, probably no

It is really a good choice.I loved the cleanliness and the service.The front desk official was very friendly and helpful.I liked the free breakfast.Good access to all places of interest.Good value for the price. Great!
 
 
 
 
 
GREAT Experience!

My lady and I stayed at this hotel from 5/21 to 5/25 of 2007. We ended up visiting Sea World, Legoland, and a few beaches. The staff was very friendly. The manager Keith gave us personal information about the hot spots to visit which made our vacation better as planned. The room's empty refridgerator came in handy for all the food and drinks we packed to keep the vacation as cheap as possible. The view wasn't much because we just saw a hill with the San Diego trolley going back and fourth but it wasn't loud or anything. The price of the hotel was cheap and well worth it. My recommendation is to stay at this hotel, grab a bunch of brochures they have available at the front door, and try to fit in as much as possible because it was truly a vacation that I will always remember.

all around satisfied

This hotel was in a good location to our family in El Cajon, and attractions such as the SD Zoo, Seaworld, and the beaches. The hotel is right off the 8 and was easy to access from that highway. The breakfast was decent, but for the price of the hotel, they could do better. We stayed in the 2-room suite, which was perfect for our 2 year old who goes to bed early. The swimming pool was great! Overall, we were very happy. We would have loved to stay longer, but the price was just too high for another day.

CLEAN & CONVENIENT

Hotel is located next to freeway. Easy access to freeway. Not hard to find (recommend map quest since hotel is @ about 15-20 minute drive once you get off the 5 freeway). Staff was very friendly & helpfull) Room was clean liked the refrigerator & microwave in room traveled w/kids so they came in hady. Beds were a little too hard for my taste but was still able to sleep through the night. Did not eat breakfast there so cannot comment but they do have a large dining area. overall would stay here again.
 
 
 
 
 
Nice for the price

When we arrived, the first thing I heard was your room isn't ready. I was getting ready to hit the roof when the next thing I heard was "I'm going to upgrade you to a suite at no charge". Very comfortable rooms. Ours had a fridge and microwave which made it nice. Too cool for the pool but the hot tub was nice. Good breakfast (the typical continental with a waffle iron and pre-measured batter). Was next to the highway but noise wasn't bad. Not far from all major attractions and highway.

i would definatly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the san diego area. large rooms, Great continental breakfast, including outstanding fresh fruit. the room was very comfortable. Staff was beyond expectations, made me feel like i was at home.

Never again.

The beds were uncomfortably firm and made for a poor night's sleep. If you have children, beware of the "continental" breakfast which consisted of watered down juices and a large array of sugary sweets and not much for fresh fruits. This was also the first hotel/motel with a continental breakfast where you were not allowed to take food to your room. I guess they were afraid you would load up your picnic basket!
