Carlyle Hotel, Campbell

As said in other reviews... the quality for the price is awesome. Excellent central location with easy access to main roadways. Parking garage is nice, the staff is super friendly, and Taj Royal about 200ft down the street is an excellent sit down food joint. Also lots of fast food nearby (jack in the box, weinershnitzle, taco bell, etc etc) Rooms were clean and well decorated, although updates to LCD TVs not in a cabinet would be cool. Cable is a full on comcast cable box / package, not the crappy typical hotel trimmed down integrated crap. Bathroom is very large, with an oversized jacuzzi tub and shower. Overall, it kind of has a little bit of a Victorian feel, with a touch of swank. I like the large seperate closet too... and make sure you ask for a Balcony access room. As of my stay in oct 2012, they have wireless internet, and a few access points to ensure great signal. Speedtest dot net was pinging it at about 60mb down/40mb up... quite fast for a hotel. Do NOT let the floral wallpaper in the pics fool you... this isnt a run down craphole... its actually nicer than alot of the Hilton / Marriot grade hotels that I have stayed in, and half the price. They also do pretty significant discouts for extended stays, good to note. One last thing too... they dont have a ton of rooms. I estimate maybe 20-30 total. The place stays super quiet.

My husband and I wanted to get away for a weekend. We decided to visit Campbell, CA. We found this hotel through Internet. We were not sure about the amenities of this hotel. But when we arrive at the hotel, we were very happy with the decision. Beautiful rooms. Check in was a breeze as it is in your room. Everything about this hotel was amazing: the room, the location, the service, and amenities. The room was clean and the attention to decorative details was a marvel to view. The beds are comfy. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The staff makes sure you feel at home and will offer their advice on must see attractions and restaurants. The room was superb. The hotel is near to ROYAL TAJ INDIA CUISINE Restaurants, Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, and Children's Discovery Museum. We highly RECOMMEND this hotel

Mold and torn wall paper in the showers! Broken bathroom tiles. No wash clothes or towels in the room; and in the pile of towels (from the front desk) was one so torn I wouldn't use it to wash my car. Motel 6 next door, next time!

Very clean, comfortable and for what you pay everything is pretty much included. I'v paid quite a bit more for the same services offered. So if you need a good comfortable place for the night, with out breaking your bank, stay here.

wow, wow, wow what nice place to stay, i stayed for 3 nights for less than $330. rooms were big and lots of space. staff very helpful. not only that you get full breakfast that include eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, muffins, danish, toast(white-wheat), ceral(2 kind), gronola, jucie(2 kind), milk, coffe, fresh cut fruits. only minor thing was there are no sit down food within walking distance. but lots of fast food nerarby i will be going back at this hotel

this hotel was worth every peeny. personally, i have paid more in the san jose area for a hotel, and the room was no were near carlyle. i really tought the rate is a bargin. you get a very nice room, hot breakfast{sausage, eggs, hash brown, fresh fruit, ceral, juice, coffe, tea, muffins, danishes, toast, oatmeal, and hot chocalte in the room and breakfast.) the staff is excellent. the lobby is beautiful. the rooms are large and comfortable. this is a very nice property. I WILL BE GOING BACK OVER AND OVER, WHEN I AM IN THE SAN JOSE AREA. THANK YOU CARLYLE.

This is a very friendly welcoming estiblishment. The breakfast is fantastic and the service is A+ The hotel is very clean. I recommend this hotel any day of the week. Very Quiet and Safe.
