Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen, Xiamen

Fantastic, fabulous food, friendly and fit for the family. Xiamen is a place with a lot to offer and this hotel is one such place. My husband and our 6 month old baby thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights stay. All the staff were not only friendly but helpful. Many of staff speak English. We felt valued and cared for during our stay. We enjoyed the location, the spacious, clean and comfortable room, the buffet breakfasts and also the other restaurants the hotel has to offer. It is a great hotel for the family even having a doctor on site which we unfortunately had to access when our little one had a temperature. This is a four star hotel with five star qualities. You won't be disappointed.

This was a great place to stay me and my sister where in china on business and they helped us out got an interpreter for us, she was lovely. The restaurant was great with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner lots to choose from and nicely priced. The room was great nice and cleaned and serviced daily. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Xiamen seems to have a lot of hotels now, but we're glad we stayed at the Millennium Harbourview Hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the service was professional and personal, the food was great (I'd stay there just for the food!). The hotel is elegant but not stuffy; one feels at home wandering its lobby, shops, cafe or bar. And it has the best location for either business or pleasure. It's only a short stroll to the main street, or to Gulangyu Islet, and with the island's new roads and tunnels, no place on the island is more than half an hour away. The best thing though is the Millennium's personable service from everyone on staff. It is as if they are all trained as concierges, ready to stop and give advice, directions, help--or suggestions for what to see and do on the island. This is a big boon for someone with limited Chinese who knows little about Xiamen--like many of the friends who have stayed there with me. Xiamen has many 5-star hotels, but Millennium is my favorite, a great place to stay, dine, and after a long hard day of negotiating with the locals, to let my hair down (what little I have left). Thanks Millennium. I look forward to my next stay (and my next Millennium breakfast!).

This was my favorite stay on my business trips over this past month. The location was amazing, right in the downtown but within view of Gulangyu Island. When my luggage was lost by the airlines, the hotel's Concierge called the airlines continuously and got my luggage delivered straight to me. Meanwhile I had no clothes aside from what I was wearing, since they were all in my lost luggage, but a charming angel at Guest Relations walked with me to the nearby Trustmart and helped me buy a set of clothes. The room was comfortable, all the standard 5 star amenities, and the breakfast was great. The hotel is priceless and I will be returning every time on my following visits. Thank you Millennium Harbourview for the amazing experience!!!

We were treated extremely well by the staff who are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our trip to Gualnagyu Island [which the staff helped us with] was made very easy - the ferry is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The old shopping area is very close - a great day of exploration - our rooms were very comfortable and I thought good value. I thought the western bar was a little old fashioned but as we had plenty of nearby alternatives this really did not matter. A great hotel - definitely return

The facility and staff go out of there way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as humanly possible. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and each and everytime that still seems to amaze me with there service and hospitality.
