GREAT LOCATION, PRICE,STAFF-GREAT STAY!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/12/09
This is the nicest hotel that I have stayed in for a long while...classy and the staff is 5Star customer service---the price and location was the best---walking distance to OpryLand Hotel (a MUST SEE for dinner or lunch)-General Jackson Show Boat and the mall is the absolute best.. saves $20 parking. The rooms made us feel like we were in a $200+/night hotel (which we have stayed in the past)- the decor was high class and the the tv was great...clean and comfortable...this price can not be beat! We will stay again!

surprisingly disappointed for a hyatt hotel!
By mm, 7/29/09
checked into the hotel, they put us at the end of the hallway. the bed squeaky, no sheets for the daybed. when we called for sheets it took 20 min. and i got a baby blanket, and a sheet and a mattress pad. moved to another room next day.both phones only worked on intercom, light out in bathroom. closet so small you could hardly access it. breakfast dishes and silverware were dirty on 2nd day not to well organized and toaster only toasted on one side of bread. the 2nd day also they did not even clean the room we stayed in. they said we had do not disturb sign up but it was on the desk in the room never displayed. the manager Dana was helpful, as were the staff with the transportation shuttle. Chris and Danny were awesome! there was 1 shuttle driver who was college age and we asked if they could drive us to the other side of mall as my mom was 83 and had trouble walking and he said the path is right there and said no and left. there was another part time shuttle driver who also is a teacher who was very helpful and kind. there were others who stayed at the hotel who also had bad experiences. they even gave 1 persons room away as they checked in late. it was clean but would not stay there again. manager tried to apologize with sent up candy and water, but errors were again the very next day.Staff at desk very helpful and kind. there were many other hotels in the area. i would try a different hotel next time. to make it worse. i was talked into this hotel over residence inn. should have stayed there instead. manager said she would take off the night stay but have not seen that credit yet to my account. Bob Evans right around the corner. many places to eat in area. opera house and mall across the street.. good location for hotel.

Would go back to stay
By RENEE, 7/20/08
Overall our experience was very good. We liked the hotel as a whole. Staff was friendly, we were there on an anniversary trip and the girl who checked us in tried to make sure we had a room, "she would want to stay in on her anniversary." The room was clean and spacious. It also had a huge t.v.! The only bad thing I could say about the room was that the fridge had a bad smell to it, but we didn't use it so it didn't bother us. The fitness center was nice, not that big, but had a couple of treadmills and a bike. The fitness room also had water and towels provided. Our view was nothing to speak of, but we were there to see Nashville not the view out of our hotel...the little bit that we were there. Breakfast was adequate, but make sure you are there before the 9:30 cutoff time or they will have everything put away! It is also crowded in the area that they serve breakfast but most hotels are that way.

We're going back soon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/20/08
Excellent location for seeing the many activities of the area. Shuttle service was wonderful and available when needed. All in all a fantastic group of folks working there. We will be returning in April for another week of R&R at this facility. Kuddos!!!!!!

Great room at a great price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/7/08
The location is great, right across from Opryland and just off of Briley with quick access to anywhere in Nashville. The rooms are very nice, newly redecorated with a huge flat screen tv. Big sitting area with a bar. Only drawbacks are small, cramped closet area and no phone books in the rooms! The front desk had to search for a phone book for me to look at. Breakfast was good, nice eating area, the lobby always smells good, some nice aromatic therapy thing going on. The staff was very friendly, very helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

Would Stay Again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. The location was convenient for our little mini-vacation. The bed was wonderful, very comfortable. We would stay again. An added bonus was, since we were there on July 4, we got to see a fireworks show out our hotel room window!

Beautiful Rooms!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/06
I stayed at the AmeriSuites Opryland hotel in September 2006. They are in the process of renovating the entire hotel, and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable (each boasts a 42 inch plasma television). I do have to complaints; housekeeping was spotty at best and the noise related to the ongoing construction was a bit of a nuisance (especially during the weekend when I was trying to sleep past 8:00 am). Also- they offer free wireless internet (BONUS!).

We were so surprised!
By Jennifer, 8/9/06
We went to Nashville for a family vacation with three generations of family and found a delightful place to stay here! Plenty of room in the suite, and the value was fabulous! I highly recommend the experience for the budget conscious family! The only downfall was the breakfast in the morning...could have been better, but otherwise, fantastic!

needs some upgrading
By Ranger_Danger, 12/20/05
Wireless internet was truely high speed, with many different channels ,make sure you pick the one with the strongest signal to make your connection to. Breakfast was very good, but located in a very small room that felt cramped. Rooms were very dirty around the edges of the carpet and in corners. Bath room had many forms of mold and or fungus in the tile groutand in the tub. The bed was very uncomfortable, unless you enjoy sleeping on concrete, could not sleep on it for more than a night or two at most. Generally overall bathroom and sleeping area needed a good steam cleaning. Only had 17 TV channels,No Nick, USA network or TVLAND I never seen so few TV channels at a major hotel chain. Heater/air conditioner was very noisy.
