The hot breakfast was as advertised.
We stayed 4 nights in March. After entering our room and unpackig, we discovered that the door had been tampered with so we could not lock it upon leaving. We had to repack and move to another room, inconvenient not to mention the security issue. We find it hard to believe those things aren't checked. Room keys had to be reprogrammed 3 separate times so they would work, a minor inconvenience. One evening we came back to an unclean room and dirty towels (no, we did not forget to remove the do-not-disturb tag from the door before we left for sightseeing that morning). Housekeeping had an answering machine on and the person we called at the front desk kept putting our call on hold, saying "I am taking care of people." We convinced him we were people, too, and a maintenance man delivered clean towls and offered to do anything to the room we wanted done. The hot breakfast was as advertised, the mattress comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful except for a couple people, and the facility seems well maintained on the whole. Our towels were stiff to the point of being scratchy. Obviously harsh chemicals were not rinsed out of them because our skin itched. We know this is indicative of a cheap washing operation. $5.00 more a day would have been worth it for soft towels, and whose costs aren't going up anyway. In the past several years we have stayed at Comfort Suites in 7 other states and have been satisfied in every area. We will not stay at this one again because it is unclear if these incidents were isolated or if this hotel is actually going down hill. Hopefully it is the former because it is a good location.
