Comfort Suites Biltmore Square Mall, Asheville

We loved the pillows. Can you possibly let us know where we can purchase the same pillows? We slept so good on them! Liked the help we got from the staff in getting directions. Close to Mall, Biltmore Estate and Supermarket.

We found this hotel with a travel coupon and were pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be the best stay on our trip. The rooms were clean, and attractive and quiet. The beds were very comfortable with several great pillows on each bed. The breakfast was extensive and offered everything anyone could want. Staci, the front desk manager recommended local restaurants and Friday night entertainment at a local park. The second night we were given a discount coupon to a local restaurant. The hotel discount tickets to the Biltmore House are a bargain. If in the area, will definitely stay there again.

We stayed here on our return home from Orlando. Had picked up a travel coupon so stayed at a very good rate. Would never have known the hotel was as full as it was because it was so quiet. The breakfast area was very crowded of the morning, but went smoothly. Would definitely stay again.

I am very surprised by some of the other reviews. We found the rooms here to be very clean, the staff very helpful, and we loved getting to stay at a fairly nice place with our dog. It was fun to see all the other dogs there, too. We had a little family reunion there using 4 rooms in all. We had so much fun and will definitely stay there again - the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was too crowded b/c the breakfast space was fairly small for the amount of visitors. But the breakfast was OK and even my discriminating husband didn't mind eating there instead of going out. We did discover a problem with the doors not locking properly - you had to make sure the handle was up in order to keep the door locked. Perhaps a sign could be place on the door to let people know about that. I didn't see anything that caused me to worry about security in or near the hotel.

The room was dirty and when we complained the desk clerk shrugged her sholders. We had to ask to speak to the manager who had the room cleaned. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will not stay there again.

My children and I were visiting this hotel, along with our dogs because my mom has been in the hospital. I could almost overlook the condition of the room including the bathroom with broken timer swith for lamps, dirty environment not only limited to bathroom. The beds looked comfortable but in truth were so uncomfortable and woke up with a lot of pain after tossing and turning all night long to find comfortable position. The morning we left, we were packing everything up and bringing it to our car that was parked in the back, when I recieved a call from the Hospital regarding my mothers status (very important call) I asked my son to just let them know we were running a few minutes over because of this situation while I was talking to the hospital and family. I had already paid for my hotel rooms and the dogs fees prior to staying there but I when I was in my car crying having a moment to myself, this lady from housekeeping was starring at me through the window and then she approached my car telling me I had to check out before I left. I explained to her we were not leaving without checking out just finishing up with loading the car and would be up there very shortly. The time was only around 12:30 which was approved in advance with front desk but this same lady had approached both my children about having me check out! My children were clearly upset by this and I finally had to come to the front desk and inform them of how wrong all this was. My family and I were dealing with a very sad situation with my mother / their grandmother but having this happen made it so much worse for all of us. This was all caused over a fee of $5.60 that apparently was not collected prior to stay. I would have given them $50.00 just to be left alone for a couple of minutes.

Stayed here on business 4/08. Room was clean and had been recently refurbished! Desk staff was helpful and pleasant. This location was also very convenient for me.

Have not stayed there yet but according to "Choice Hotel" main office the Hotel is completely refurbished for 2008. I will be editing this after April 8 as thats when we arrive. I spoke personally with Hotel personnel who assure me its all finished except the 1st floor and they close a floor while they work and work starts after 9 am.

We chose this hotel because of how close it was to Biltmore Estates. That was the only thing good about this hotel. Lobby clean, free breakfast, just like you find at other hotels, that offer it. Room dirty, carpet under bed filthy, dont want to guess what brown lump was. Bathroom, no caulk around shower and mold, hair stuck in corners of tile floor. Toilet ran all the time ,sink clogged when you used it. All chairs in room had large unknown stains on them. Sheets would not stay on matteress when you slept. Elevators dirty and the slowest I have ever seen for 5 floors. Faster to take stairs. Stairwells smell like locker room and vomit. Staff ignored complaints to clean, fix toilet and sink remove stained chairs, said manager wasn't available on weekends. Would not reccommend this hotel at all, we were not the only patrons who complained on deaf ears, front desk has a large notebook they write the complaints in then forget them.

OLD, OLD, OLD, Being that the room furniture is so old and dark...it's hard to say if it is clean. Chair in room is falling apart. Bathroom so small hard to shut the door. One pillowcase is dirty. Awful tub..wouldn't take a bath in it. The only nice thing to say about this place is the lady at the desk was very pleasant. If it wasn't so late we would be leaving. Hopefully this will keep someone else from staying here. Owners put some money in your hotel before you lose all our business.
