Point Reyes Seashore Lodge, Olema

my wife and i stayed in the cabin for part of our honeymoon. it was spectacular! the staff was kind and had insightful information concerning the best sites to visit in point reyes. every morning an all organic breakfast (of homemade carrot and rasin muffins, soft-boiled eggs, sausage, homemade granola and strauss milk) awaited us in a basket just outside our door. the garden was nice, and the space in the cabin was comfortable and tastefully decorated. i have since recommended it to many friends and family.

We just came from Point Reyes and we stopped at Olema to spend the night. Black Bear Valley Inn was fully booked and so they suggested the Seashore Lodge which has more available rooms. The receptionist was very nice and she gave us a room on the second floor which has a very nice view of the backyard (flowers were in bloom all over the place, Adirondack chairs overlooking a small creek) It was picture perfect. They also serve excellent buffet breakfast- not your run of the mill continental breakfast but fresh fruits, fresh milk and pastries!! It was a wonderful treat. Next door is the Farm House Restaurant which serve excellent grilled oysters from Drake's Oyster Farm.
