Country Inn Holland, Holland

My husband and I arrived May 11, 2009 after driving from Toronto. Our room was a king size and clean. Our bathtub was very slow in draining as well as the sink. Taps did not have a cover on it. I guess at the cheap price of AAA we should not complain. The breakfast was good, coffee was bad. We were advised that 2 night stay would give us a $25 gas card. Management denied us this card at check out and could not remember sending us an email confirmation. I have provided this email to the Inn and it has now been a week, we are looking for our "cash" refund now seeing as we are not in the USA to use the card. I guess our refund has gone missing just like the tap cover or maybe it is stuck in the drain causing the tub to drain slowly. Oerall, if you are not expecting hollywood , this Inn is a nice place. Loved the fireplace entrance.

this was a nice family & friendly hotel,clean ,well kept and the staff very pleasant, continental breakfast was o.k. everything was cold,go to IHOP,about 1.5 mi on u.s. 31.the location is great this place is near everything. i would stay here again and recommend it to otheers

This place was excellent! I was taking a friend on a weekend adventure, looking for someplace inexpensive, and this showed up. The room was very clean, and though the pool wasn't the best, it was still pretty good. It was a hop to a movie theater, a skip to the Dutch Village, and a jump to a nearby Walmart. It was a bit difficult to find, though, and a bit of a distance from the downtown where you can go window shopping, perhaps a 10-minute drive. The lobby was stylish, the continental breakfast was varied, with something for everyone, and my friend and I had a very good time. I personally recommend this hotel for a Holland visit.

I've stayed in a lot of motels and this place is well above average. It's even above average for a Country Inn. We paid $84.60 at a AAA rate, so it was a very good value. The building is either new or newly refurbished. We asked for a quiet room on the upper floor and were given a corner room. It was very quite, but really the whole building was pretty quiet - it wasn't very full, but also the doors and walls are pretty thick. The rooms are nicely finished and very clean. The king size bed was actually firm and COMFORTABLE! There was a decent breakfast - rather typical for a motel type breakfast but including waffle makers. We were going to stay one night but it was so nice that we stayed a 2nd night rather than moving on to the next stop of our trip and did more sightseeing in Holland (lots to see here). WiFi works well.

As seniors, we loved this hotel! It was so great to meet the general manager on a sunday morning! She was helping with a very busy breakfast, but everyone seemed to be enjoying it. I was amazed that a manager would be helping the waitress at 800am on a sunday morning. She even asked what could the staff have done to make our stay more pleasant. The room was immaculately clean, and the young lady that registered us was unbelivable. She even knew the movies that were playing next door and hade menu recomendations from the restaurant that is within walking distance. Service like this is hard to find. We definately recommend this hotel! We were disappointed with not much to do in the city, but the hotel was great.

Hard to find. Well no one told us there would be tons of kids running around and taking up all the breakfast area and being noisy at night. The shower curtain was ripped and someone bumped the sofa that was in the room and food from underneath appeared. A/C worked well. pool small but nice. Unconfortable pillows.

This is a great place to stay at. They have very nice breakfast and it is included in the rate. You must try it. We tried another hotel in Holland area and it was a bad experience. In the future, we will definitely stay at country inn every time we visit Holland
