Comfort Inn At the Park-Hershey Pa, Hummelstown

The rate of "from" $85.00, caught my eye on Yahoo Travel. I phoned the hotel to confirm the price, because I didn't believe it. I was told there was no room at that price, and she could not imagine a room that inexpensive. So is it Yahoo, or Comfort Inn that uses sensationalized prices to attract attention, and in the end who's responsibility is the marketing?

I could not stay at Day's Inn because they had no roomsaver rooms... I am glad I called this hotel and stayed here 2 nights instead- staff directed me to the doorstep (twice I got lost)- then they were friendly and accommodating. The room was immaculate, AC worked perfectly, front desk left a welcome message on phone, house cleaning staff was friendly, we loved the small pool, free breakfast was good, gave us rate quoted of $109 a night, less than 2 miles from Hershey park, close to applebees and other restaurants, grocery store (weis) just up the hill, computer in lobby, they gave us helpful local directions, we will recommend this to all of our friends!!! They made our stay a fantastic one!!!

We stayed here for two nights from 20 to 21 Jul 08. The room was very spacious, very clean and smelled nice. Our room was on the 6th floor. The location was great - just two miles from the Hershey Park and Chocolate World, within walking distance to restaurants (Applebee's, Tokyo Diner, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, etc) and a gas station. Breakfast is also included. However, the breakfast room can get quite crowded especially after 9am. Breakfast was okay, hot waffles, cereal, bagels, donuts (a little stale), coffe, juices and milk. The only problem we had was the loud noise coming from the hallway at 11pm on our first night there. We noticed there was no seal on our doorframe. There was a big gap between the door and door-frame. We could hear everything going on in the hallway. At about 11pm on our first night there, we were woken up by loud voices and running in the hallway. This went on for about 20 mins. Suggestion to the hotel - please install door seals on your doorframe to minimize the noise coming in from the hallways. Another problem we had is the housekeeping staff did not replace the bath soap even though it needed replacing. The pool is supposed to be heated but it wasn;t warm. Also the area around the pool was dirty. We would definitely stay here again. For half the price we paid over at Hotel Hershey where we stayed in April 08, we got a bigger room here with breakfast included.

They fail to inform guests that this hotel is non-smoking completely. You have to go into the web site in order to find out that this hotel is non-smoking. Also when we checked in our internet didnt work, so we had to move to another room after a long trip. I was on the phone with their internet help for about half hour. Then they just decided to move me to another room. Wasnt what I wanted to do after my drive here. I mean the room is clean and nice but I mean for a smoker that should be advertised alittle bit more on there web site.

they were nice enough to let us check in at 11am even though check in wasnt till 3...its closest to the part without being a part of the park...great indoor heated pool open till 11pm....and the breakfast was amazing..best one at a hotel that ive been too....definitly recomend!!

The Comfort Inn Hershey is all about quality and location. Great turndown service, a nice continental breakfast setting, and conveniantly located right by restaurants, stores, and the Hershey outlets. It is the closest hotel to the entrance to Hersheypark -- probably no more than a half mile down the road.
