Fradulant Movie Charges

My wife and I spend a night in this hotel every year for my birthday. It is a delightful getaway during a busy time of year. Normally everything runs smoothly. But this year we were charged $16.99 for watching their "Free View" promotional movies. They said our bill would not have been charged had we watched a free movie. They refunded the movie we started but did not get past the title page before we left for dinner. They would not refund the other one. I am very frugal, and would NEVER PAY that price for a movie that was no longer in theaters, let alone a movie that was. The manager said he would check the settings. Our fault was not looking at the bill closely before we left.

Perfect, Relaxing and Very Accommodating

I have been here the last 3 years for a conference. The service is impeccable and check in/out has always been very easy. The atmosphere has relaxing and peaceful. Great place to unwind after a full day of brainstorming. Highly RECOMMENDED. Oh, and the location is perfect for those taking spouses. On site fitness center and shopping mall right outside the front door. Doesnt get any better than that.

Smiling - Happy Employees

Very impressed. Was smooth from check in to check out. The girls behind the desk were extremely friendly and helpful. They were smiling every time we saw them. We were in town for a family reunion and the suites work ideally when you have need for some extra room. Place has obviously been updated and they have done a excellent job. Everything was new and sharp all the way from the beautiful linings to the new marble sinks. We arrived early and although we had forgotten to call for an early check in, they made it happen. We hung at the pool, which has lovely landscaping and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We were a bit disappointed when we arrived for the manager's happy hour to find out hot appetizers are only served Mon-Thurs. But free drinks go well with chips and salsa too. Besides we already had dinner plans at an amazing restaurant called Bourbon Street, about 15 minuets from the hotel. We would diffidently return and highly recommend it.

What the Wow...

WOW! - The staff members were very nice and helpful. I stayed at this property about a year ago and it was very outdated and worn which did not make my stay a pleasant one! This time around the property made obvious upgrades throughout the entire hotel. I plan to make the Embassy Suites Brea my choice hotel when on Business or Leisure travel - WOW!

Wait until June 07

do not stay here until the complete the remodel in June of 07.. The rooms are dated and not typical of an Embassy Suites.. Good location and staff is nice.. Hotel is just dated...

So many complaints!

I stayed here on the Labor Day weekend in 2005 with my wife and daughter. The service was terrible. We were put right across from an elevator even though we told them we preferred not to, the noise in both rooms to either side was intolerable, there were loud parties with dozens of people at all hours of the evening and morning, the exercise room was full of broken equipment, the Manager's Reception was a joke, and I have to agree with the last reviewer that the beds killed our backs and the hotel needs to be refurbished. I've stayed here for three years when visiting family, but will look elsewhere next time.

Stay somewhere else if you want a good nights sleep

This hotel is not for the business traveler. High speed is by a couch, no desk. Lighting is awful in the rooms and worst of all the beds are very old and uncomfortable. For the past 3 years I have had to stay there for business, but now I am staying some where else. I just can't take the lumpy beds anymore. I need my sleep. It also is in desperate need of re-decorating. It is very out dated.
