Nasty Hotel and Very Poor Managment!
This Hotel was just plain and simple Nasty, We thought it had a foul odor to it. The Beds were so low to the ground and lousy mattress's that my son honestly slept in the bathtub, and felt it was better than the BED! We request a room for 5. We waited 1 full hour for them to bring up a rollaway. We checked in late and was leaving early due to our flight so the last thing we wanted was to wait a hour to go to bed. The TV remote did not work.
We left in the morning for our wonderful trip. Left our vechicle there. Everything was fine until when we got back and the driver pick-up us up at the airport (Which took 45 minutes, it's a 3 minute drive!) to bring us back to our vechicle parked at the hotel, and while we were loading our suitcases in the truck "The driver from the hotel throws my carry on bag into the trunk of another couples car, and they were off to Pennsylvania!! So Now I have to make arrangement for my bag to get shipped back to me. I had all the gift's we bought and VALUABLES from our trip in that ONE BAG! Many $$. The hotel has been less than eager to help with this matter, If you can get the manager to return your call, your very luckey.. Myself and the party from Pennsylvania both have voice mail and he states he has called us back and left messages, but funny neither one of us get them??? (But we get each others and Everyone elses)...Bottom line I will get my bag back, but I will never stay at that Howard Johnson's again! Thanks For Nothing..
P.S. The internet connection was a big joke too....When we called and asked if they had internet they said yes!, well guess what ONLY SOME ROOMS CAN GET IT!!! Our was not one of them??? BUT they don't tell you that.
Spend the extra $10 and go to a real hotel.
