WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!
WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. PLEASE READ!! Last night (Friday 13, 2012), after relaxing and having a few beers, it came time to retire. I laid my head down only to find prickly pubic hair all over the pillow and bed, YES PUBIC HAIR! I had to wake early in the AM (and been drinking), so I decided to simply ask for new linens. The on duty manager promptly brought up two pillowcases only. When I asked to have the entire set of linens replaced, he asked if he could change my room out. I agreed and went to the adjacent room (now midnight). You wouldn't believe it unless it happened to you, but yes, even more hair in this bed. Off to door #3, and yes... more hair. Now on to the 4th room. This time the hair was minimal, and the manager had the nerve to say "oh those are small hairs" and started picking them off the pillow. I am now 5 hours away from start time of my job. The manager repeatedly states "oh this looks really bad for us", and assured me I would not be charged for the room. I put all my clothes back on, along with a hooded sweatshirt in an attempt to avoid contact with the linens. After waking from an obviously unsettled sleep, I went to wash off the nasty. ONLY TO FIND THERE IS NO HOT WATER!!! WOW!! Ok, so ultra quick breath-taking cold shower and proceed down to the office. The same manager was on duty, and tells me the person that can handle the refund will not be in for a few hours. This afternoon, after work, I called and asked how to proceed with the refund. I was told I am NOT GETTING A REFUND. He said "You stayed the night, so you get no refund." Then he proceeds to tell me "TAKE IT TO A LAWYER". The hotel is on my way back out of town, so I decide to stop back by. He repeats that I am not getting a refund, and calls me a "LIAR" (how I lied I still have yet to figure out). I ask how I can get in touch with management. He tells me the manager will be in tomorrow. When I asked for the managers name, he was not able to tell me his last name, nor provide me with a contact number. I told him this was not acceptable, and the worker then asked if I would like him to call the police. I said absolutely please do!! I knew the police would not be able to do anything in favor of either party, but they arrived very quickly so didn't hold me up too much. After the back and forth, I was given the name of manager on duty last night, and a police "incident number".
I can not STRESS ENOUGH how horrible I was treated by this establishment. It was a very disturbing experience, and do not wish this on ANYONE. I can only hope this review reaches you before you decide to stay there. I will be following up with the managing company Monday, and will update the review. Aaron
