Cannot beleive they charge for the rooms
By ,
If you are in northwest Arkansas, avoid this hotel at all costs. First, the staff is very rude. They make it seem like it is an honor for you to stay in their hotel and should cough up the cash immediately. I needed more towels for my family and proceeded to wait 45 minutes until I finally worked up the courage to just go outside, catch up with a maid and steal some from her cart (that's what she called it...stealing!). Second, the amenities are not worth the money you spend on the room. The breakfast is awful and looks like it has been the same food used for several days over and over again. They seldom refilled the food so if they were out, you were out of luck...sorry! I heard sorry a lot while I was there! Lastly, the room was just old and musty. looks like my great-grandmother's house after she was unable to clean on a regular basis. The carpet and sheet just did not smell fresh or clean. We asked for another room just for the benefit of the doubt and were challenged as to why we did not like the room. Huh? I don't think we made many outrageous demands, but we will NEVER stay there again. They should be ashamed to put Holiday inn on their hotel!

If you are stuck in the 70s,

Only positive thing I can say is that the rooms were clean. It was comparable to staying at my grandma's when I was a child because the furnishings are from the same era. There was an old tube TV in the room and NO VENT IN THE BATHROOM WTF? Like who wants to bask in filth after someone deposits a BM? Not me! Oh, I almost forgot about the "atrium" inside...LOL, it has a sunroof and a bunch of plastic plants. Year, I really felt in touch with nature. Bottom line is that owner is a slumlord of the hotel industry. Stay in Fayetteville in one of the new hotels, you will be MUCH happier. Trust me!

Great Hotel, Great Staff
By ,
Just wanted to congratulate the Holiday Inn staff on a well run property during the recent ice storm that hit NWA. The Holiday Inn was my first choice. In order to check-in we had to stand in a pretty long line since there were so many people trying to book a room. While waiting I noticed that the staff at the front desk, worked diligently trying to get everyone taken care of...the main thing was they had a smile on their faces the whole time. With phones ringing constantly and all kinds of folks wanting rooms (some with attitudes), the staff never changed their demeanor. I was really amazed that they could greet each and every customer as if they were the only ones they had seen all day!! This hotel is blessed with such fabulous employees. Thanks again for a haven during the storm. It was so nice to have a warm room, lights and a great hotel! We want to let folks know how much we appreciate all they did...

Read before you go to this hotel !!!
By ,
For one they charged my card twice when I paid for the room in full 1 week before I went there. They took $212.00 from my card and still haven't got it back on the card yet and it has been 2 weeks now. The pool had the concert in the bottom coming up making holes in the floor of the pool, which cut my foot open. The hot tub was luke warm and smelled very bad. There was people from the other hotel next door that was in our pool. So there was two hotel sharing one pool and hot tub. The maid service was very poor. If you stay there one then one night they will not change your sheets until you leave the hotel and there is a sign in the room that will tell you that. The phone calls are not free for a local call it will cost you .75 for a min and .10 after that. The brestfest is not free it will cost you $6.50 downstairs. There is coffee in your room that will cost you too. Along with a bottle of water that was $4.00. Everything you did in this hotel cost you out of your butt. This hotel will let your pets stay with you too. But watch out for the dog piss in the hallway that house keeping did not clean. By the way my room had that smell in it too. From the monment I walk throught the door you smell pee from a dog are cat. This is the hostest truth. I travel alot to see my grandchildren and this is the first Hoilday Inn that was REALLY VERY BAD. If you pick this hotel more power to you. You will see what me and my hubby went through in this hotel. This hotel needs to be remodeled and updated bad.

Great Hotel
By ,
I recently stayed here for a week on a business meeting. The breakfast was superb. They have a greatly looking facility. From the moment I walked in I was amazed. They had a clean swimming pool with a sauna, hottub, and a workout room also. If I am ever in that area angain I will go back for sure. There was not one single bad experience I had while I was there.

Love it
By ,
From the moment I walk in the door until the moment I leave, I feel like i'm at home. The 2 sweet girls at the front desk know me by my last name and use it everytime I walk by. Disapointed that Pizza Hut isn't inhouse anymore, but Tasha and Kathryn at the front desk told me that Pizza Hut would deliver pizza here and got me the number. The beds are a bit hard, but if you ask nicely, they have a pillow menu so it might help your nights stay. When you make your reservation, make sure there isnt some group of highschoolers there so you can get a good nights sleep. Nora (the manager) was so helpful I felt more than at home...will be back soon!

Excellent Meeting Room and Service
By ,
I attended a 2-day meeting here in last week. The service, staff, and buffet luncheons, both days, were outstanding. Highly Recommended !

Best stay ever
By ,
I have stayed at many hotels across the country, and this hotel is by far the best. The front desk staff, and Drew in particular, provided me with 1st class service throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

Customers Beware
By ,
They charged my credit card over $1100.00 when the bill should have been a bit over $400.00. They called it an error on a new employees part and cause me much work and extra money to get corrected. They made no attempt to even try and make us happy after all the headache of staying with them. We will stay at Red Lion from now on. I would look at the Double Tree across the street from this hotel. I have stayed there and the service is far superior.
