Cheap accommodations at high prices
By Jw Johnson, 10/11/11
Everything about this hotel make sure the name "Grand" is false. Cheap towels, toiletries, and weak coffee tops the list of this Motel 6 posing as something more. Tour guides love it from the number of busses. I do not mind budget hotels but do not like advertising one thing and delivering much, much less.

Kid Friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/09
We spent two nights at the hotel and only have good things to say. Truly kid friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant three times and were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet and great dinner. Hotel staff was attentive and friendly. Great location.

Has everything.
By NBbroker, 10/14/08
We took 2 other couples with us for a birthday celebration for my boyfriend. The guys sat in the out door hot tub (in late Nov!) while the girls went shopping right next door. We could even come back and drop off our bags in the room it was so close. We are all coming back this year but this time with 4 other couples. We all had a ball!.

Hotel is definitely child friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/15/08
We enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. We were looking for a child-friendly environment, which it was. Nice pool areas for kids, craft and ice cream socials at night. However, if you don't have kids DO NOT stay here. If it were only my husband and I we would have felt overrun by kids everywhere. Breakfast in the hotel was very nice but overpriced. In order to have a hot breakfast you have to pay $10.95. Otherwise it's just a continental for $5.95. I'm sure we could have gone to a local restaurant for much less and just as good. Here's a TIP: If you have AAA ask for the discount. We saved $20 per night just for asking for that rate.

Call Before You Go!
By Laura, 7/7/08
We reserved a room directly from the hotel's web site - got a confirmation and everything. When we arrived at 6:30 pm, our room was gone. They had overbooked. We didn't even get a 'sorry' from the front desk. We were told of another hotel that might have rooms. We were lucky to even get a room at any hotel in the area. Another woman checking in next to me had the same exact problem. The hotel staff looked as if there was nothing they could do.

won't go back
By thomas, 4/13/08
I disliked the fact that we were put in the middle of a group of noisy teenagers. we had a young child with us. she was woking up at least three times on the saturaday night we stayed. The kids were running up and down the hallways until 11:00 at night. I think in the future if this hotel has a bunch of kids that they don't put people with kids under the age of six near these groups. our room had stuff under the bed .I went to reach for a toy that had gone under the bed and i pulled out two dirty tissues,a cover to chips, and lots of candy wrappers.

Overall Happy Guest
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/21/08
Stayed here with our 5 year old for 3 nights in August 2007. It was very kid friendly, and both indoor and outdoor pools were great. They even have a shallow pool are for very little ones with a fountain and sprinklers to make it fun but safe. They had a nightly ice cream/craft-making social hour for the kids that was free. The bar/restaurant staff were friendly, but seemed a bit under-staffed. The back entrance to the hotels literally feeds directly into a very large outlet mall which was convenient for the wife. The room was pretty clean, and fine for our needs. Overall, I'd say this is a fine choice for a family getaway.

I stayed at better !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/11/08
Not a bang for your buck type pplace. OVERPRICED!! The room was very clean and thats about it. The beds have seen much better days, the bath towels were like sandpaper, the shower was tiny, and we felt like we were putting the staff out by asking a few questions. I have stayed at much better places on 16 for far less money.

Not worth it...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/27/07
Unreal...dirty, moldy and smelled something like cig butts and feet. No service, no pool (down), and just overall needs a solid make over. At least it was close to shops but for over 175 per night might as well stay farther away and save a buck! Honestly we felt like we got taken for a gross ride there.
