Las Casas de la Juderia, Seville

Just be careful when you check out that they don't charge you for a night that they already put on your credit card. Also, about the unfriendliest staff imaginable. Other than that I would stay again.

Only thing that we disliked was the difficulty in finding the hotel but one of the staff took the trouble to walk with us to our car and lead us to the hotel and its parking.

this hotel was so wonderul! i will come back! that's sur! the personnel was so nice!! and rooms were reallly unbelievable so pretty and... typic spanish!

I enjoyed the location of the hotel you do not need to rent a car or get a cab if you will only be staying in Sevilla. The service at the hotel was good I needed a corkscrew for a wine and they delivered one to my room. The rooms were very generous in size we stayed in a junior suite which consisted of a bedroom and a seperate sitting room with a desk and a sofa. I did not enjoy the dinner at the hotel the entree was good however the waitress wanted the full order of the meal all at once kind of tacky for a fine dining establishment meal was very pricey. I would recommend this hotel and would return as well. I would give it a strong 4.1259 stars out of 5 ;)

Bkfast times are very strict, such is "happy hour time". One minute before or after is NOT the righ time ! funny. Rooms are perfect. It is like sleeping over a luxury convent of the XVIII Century, with the 21st Century facilities. Really great.

The hotel location is good, the court yards and bar are fine but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. The beds are old and very uncomfortable. We felt it may colaps each time we moved. We had a junior suite and could not believe the poor/cheap quality of the furniture and light fictures. We asked to be moved from the first junior suite and found the second was not much better. While in reception and at breakfast I overhead other guests complaining about their rooms. The walls in the breakfast dining room are old, moldy and crumbling. The lighting was dim to try to disguise this. We planned to stay for 3 nights but moved to Hotel Los Seises after only one. It has the same location with beautifully decorated rooms and at a better rate. I'm not sure how Hotel Las Casas de la Juderia received its 4 star rating. We stayed in a better 3 star hotel in Granada. We loved our hotels in Madrid, Granada, Arcos, Cordoba and Toledo. This hotel overshadowed our visit in Seville. The room pictures on their website are of their suites, not their junior suites or superior rooms. I cannot recommend this hotel for anyone as it is very poor value for the cost.

A good hotel can make or mar your holiday and this is what happened to us in Seville. We were so pleased with the hotel that it coloured our entire 3 night stay in this great city. The best thing is the atmosphere which is so real that you really feel you are in Spain. The rooms we had were absolutely great--well furnished, spacious and very well air conditioned. The reception staff were friendly except for an odd one but I am not going to hold that against the hotel. The location is good once you have gotten past the first step of actually finding the hotel in a labyrinth of narrow streets. I was disappointed in the so called Piano Bar which did not live upto our expectations. Perhaps they were having staffing problems but the guy who played the piano disappeared as soon as we went in--at around 8 pm. But this is lovely hotel. I wish they would brighten up the courtyard a bit. It has great potential.

This is just the coolest hotel. Forget your boutique hotels, this place has character and a location to die for. Great base for touring Seville.

- maybe the most unique place I ever stayed - great access to the best parts of the city - going down the alley to the front entrance one would never guess how nice it is in side. - it's not the Aflonso XIII but it has more character, the rooms are great (and air conditioned), and the staff was just as attentive

Narrow, twisting, cobble stone streets of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, is where you'll find this gem. Small, quaint hotel, more like the mansion of a good friend. Great rooms of all sizes and decor. Friendly, english speaking staff. A definate recommendation for at least 3 nights!
