Location, Location, Locaton
By ,
My only real complaint about Woodcliff, was the location of my room. It was opposite the elevator and just above the lobby. Unfortunately the lobby is also attached to the hotel bar and conference rooms. Weekdays were fine but on weekends, the parties and or weddings would last until 1:00 a.m. Take my advice, if your room is near the lobby, switch rooms or go get ear plugs. Normally I can sleep through anything but not at the Woodcliff on weekends. People also talk louder the later it is at night. Dinner at the restaurant was great (a bit expensive though) Breakfast buffet was okay. Overall service at the restaurant and hotel was good. If you play golf ,the course was fun and not too difficult if you can keep your ball out of the woods (Find a Srixon and it's probably mine) Play on Sunday morning if you can, it's not that busy. The area around the hotel is beautiful, go for a walk you might see a deer or two also. There is a park and plenty of shopping nearby. Overall I would stay at Woodcliff again, like I said the only complaint was the hotel room location.

Go somewhere else!
By ,
The rooms have NO sound proofing at all. You can hear the guests above you, below you, and next to you quite clearly. Any noise in the hall sounds as if it was inside your room. During a recent stay, I could not get to sleep due to all the distractions.

Can't wait to go back!
By ,
Was at the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa with daughter who was looking at nearby Nazareth College. We really liked having two queen size beds in room compared to most rooms which have full-very comfortable! The pedicure I had done at Spa Elan was great-order up a glass of wine to make it even better. Also, the location to Nazareth was great as it was only about a 5 minute drive. If you are coming to Nazareth College-definitly choose the Woodcliff! The only thing that we would have liked was to have had more time to check out the pool and the restaurant as the menu looked great.

Disappointed but special occasion made it worthwhile
By ,
My husband and I stayed in a suite for our anniversary. Because of the occasion overall we had a great time. But one bathroom had no toilet paper and no place to put some if there was any. Bed was extremely sagging and broken down on one side so it was very uncomfortable. The hotel solicted feedback via email so I provided this same info - but no response at all. We had stayed before in same room a few years back and room was great - but has gone down hill. Dined at Woodcliff restaurant last visit but ate at nearby Steakhouse Peter Geyer this time. Although it was pricey (like Woodcliff) much better food. Staff was just OK.

There was no water and they overcharged me
By ,
We stayed here for our wedding night and it was one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel. First, there was no water available when we arrived (it was a scheduled repair and they did not warn us about ahead of time). When we woke up the next day we had breakfast in the restaurant. The meal was satisfactory but the service was terrible. After checking my account when I arrived home, I noticed they charged me twice for the stay. I seriously would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It's not worth the money.

Several Visits
By ,
Indoor outdoor pool and very good excersize room. The hotel has great veiws. Ask for a room looking over the cliffside. The golf course is fun,not top notch but great for family. The rates are resonable. If you want a treat ask for a suite with the large glass wall.

Breakfast was terrible
By ,
I am from Las Vegas and was staying in the area and thought it would be nice to take my companion to Breakfast there. I had seen the menu on the internet and they had eggs benedict which is one of our favorites. We made reservatins for Dec 22. After driving 45 minutes we arrived and found that they were not serving from a menu but a buffet which was not advertised on the internet as being the breakfast offered on a Sat. When we questioned the waitress we were told that the buffet had almost everything that was on the menu. It turned out not to be true and was one of thw worst breakfast buffetts I have ever had. Everything was cold except the coffee. The pastry was not fresh and almost stale. Definitely not worth the money. When I wrote management they didn't have the courtesy to respond. So take your chances
