Canterbury Cottage, Bar Harbor

Martha and Rob do everything they can to make you feel at home during your stay at Canterbury Cottage. This was one of three bed and breakfasts that my husband and I stayed in during our tour of New England. It was also by far our favorite. Probably the best feature of Canterbury Cottage is the location. It is two blocks away from downtown Bar Harbor. However you may find it very difficult to leave your room! Martha has left many "extras" that truly make you feel at home. From aromatherapy lotion to help you sleep, to chocolates and water left daily in the room, I was very impressed. Not to mention the FABULOUS breakfasts she fixes every morning! I left a sweatshirt at a local restaurant, and when she found out she picked it up and put it in the mail for me! My husband and I can't wait to go back.
