What a dump
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/08
I would never have expected this from a Westin. Our room was a mess. Pictures were all awry. The mini-bar was missing from the room. Three days later, we still did not have a minibar (One was brought in but the key provided did not work!). The room was stocked with one coffee cup for two people. The book with room service and hotel description was empty. On top of that, the management did nothing to make it right. I don't know what the problem is but this hotel is a disappointing mess. Not bad for the money, except you would probably do better at a Holiday Inn or Motel 6. This is not a luxury hotel. (By the way, the sauna and the jucuzzi don't work.) This is a decent hotel with NO Service.

Slept better in a tent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/07
Just like the old saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" this hotel looks nice from the outside, but the service and management were horrible. The bed wasn't comfortable, the room smelled funny, and I was treated like I owed them a debt. I'll be happy to spend my money elsewhere in the future! Do yourself a favor and avoid this one at all costs...

Great for wrok or play

Westins are some of the best hotels and this Waltham Westin is no exception. Comfy roomy and classy. Great for work or play... best beds in the business...

disappointed
By buzz, 11/26/06
The staff was not friendly at check in or check out. We booked our room thru a travel web site and the staff seemed to treat us differently than others . Eg., we did not get a morning newspaper. . We were given a room with the heater installed in the walls. It was very loud when it came on. The room was either too hot or too cold. The walls are thin under the window which could be pushed easily . The walls /bed headboard vibrated in a strange manner. The windows open in an unsafe manner which presented a hazard to our two year old daughter. . The exercise room was adequate, but the pool was dated and the water temperature was cold. There was almost no info provided in our room about services or local attractions. The internet fees were very expensive. The architecture and dark windows makes it feel a little like something from star wars. The restaraunt was expensive for breakfast- a cup of starbucks coffee is $4.50. There are plenty of other hotels in the area which I woud recommend.

In the middle of nowhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/06
Attended there a conference. It seems that it was the first conference hosted by this hotel. E.g.: only 3 tables for conference breakfast with about 100 participants; taking the soup from one guest who did not like it and give it directly to the next, no shuttle service, no rental cars available at weekends...

Great Quality at Great Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/05
We really enjoyed staying at the Waltham Westin. The guest room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The Westin beds are incredibly comfortable, as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for visitors to this area. It is accessible to Boston but you won't pay Boston prices!
