Get what you paid for
By Shawnna, 6/9/09
My husband accuses me of looking for rathole hotels & this choice was no exception. In fact, there was a male prostitute staying in the hotel, burns in the carpet, mold growing on the ceiling, and exposed wiring that looked to be dangerous. We will try the Residence Inn when we visit next time- even if it is twice the price.

OH MY GOD!
Dude, this place is a rathole in the middle of the "GHETTO." Broken doors, extreme dust build up, iron burns in the floor, and faulty electrical sockets that spark and almost cause fires are just a few of the wonderful amentities. Not to mention beds shaped lie a U with no real box spring support. And you gotta love the blankets and sheets from the surplus store. Did I mention the busted heater/AC with mold growing in it. I tried to get an extra towel and they told me they don't do laundry there? The front door had a nice broken chain lock ( you know the kind that happens from getting kicked in. hmmmm) The best part of the trip was the people trying to bum money in the parking lot. (remember the "Ghetto" comment) Oh yeah, the same two beat up gangstar rides used the parking as a cut through to the wonderful alley behind the hotel about 20 times in a few hours. I wonder what they were doing, hmmm? At least McDonald's was right next door. That way I could get coffee from the white trash lady with a black eye! Just a suggestion but, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Alittle off....
By Nikki, 4/22/08
The customer service was ok,I guess...Didn't really interact with the staff too much..My sister and her daughter had come up to visit from Ft. Wayne and was looking for an affordable hotel to stay at that offered breakfast. Well, the info online stated that a "continental breakfast" was included so she decided to stay there. My children and I decided to join her. Well, the "continental breakfast" turned out to be a choice of cereal(corn flakes or raisin bran and you had to ask for milk at the front desk!), a bagel or a danish. We ended up going to a restaurant for breakfast instead. The room was ok, I guess...there was a bit of a pothole in the parking space right in front of our door (which was missing a number!) and I ended up twisting my ankle when I accidentally stepped in it while loading up our truck. The beds were comfy though so it wasn't too bad. The location of the room was less than favorable. We were put in a room that was kinda far from the lobby and in a kinda secluded spot even though there were vacant rooms right behind the lobby. One plus was that there is a McDonald's right next door to the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends or family.I feel that for the cost of the room, the quality of the services could have been better.
