staff is very unfriendly. smells like there is severe mold problem.unclean bed & sheets also pubic hair on sheets toilet

The price was fair on Yahoo travel. The breakfast was decent. They served good waffeles, bagels, etc. The TV was nice. The bathroom is in desperate need of updating. It seemed clean overall. The hallway carpet is in poor condition. If I had to saty in the same area I think I might stay there, but my wife my think otherwise. Not bad overall.

June 2007: Air conditioner barely worked. Carpet was questionable - I suspect mold spores. The bathroom was as clean as it could be, notwithstanding the 10-year old plastic insert, the rust on the ceiling, the open electrical panel (cover on floor), the cracked tank cover, and the loose flooring tiles. Shower curtain was very old - cooties lurking? The wall above the head of the bed (no headboard) was partially patched, the spackling mesh still visible over still drying spackle. The chairs at the table were full of cigarette burns and nasty stains. The outdoor staircase was approaching unsafe -- holes in some of the steps. General malaise and lack of upkeep was rampant. The pool did not work; the free breakfast was the most pathetic ever encountered. I'd give this a 2 out of 5 and I've stayed in $5 hotels in S.A.

WE HAD TO LEAVE OUR HOUSE UNEXPECTANTLY AND IMMEDATELY DUE TO A FLOOD IN OUR HOUSE. WE WERE HERE FOR OVER 6 WEEKS. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT!!!! ALWAYS ASKING IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING, HOW THINGS WERE GOING, ETC. IT REALLY DID BECOME OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ANXIOUS TO GET BACK "HOME" WE WERE A LITTLE SAD TO LEAVE. THE ROOMS WERE VERY SPACIOUS, CLEAN AND QUIET. EVEN ON THEIR BUSIEST NIGHTS WE RARELY HEARD ANY NOISE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE TRAVELING IN THE AREA. YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER PLACE!!

Every year i come and stay at the sandpiper and i love it. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, what more can you ask for.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, the pond and grounds very pretty and the rooms clean. We plan to return next summer.
