Description

The Boston Harbor Hotel is an independent luxury property located at Rowes Wharf on the Boston waterfront. The hotel connects to various neighborhoods including Boston's Financial District, the North End, Chinatown and Boston's Seaport District. The new Rose Kennedy Greenway weaves a path just outside the Boston Harbor Hotel's cityside entrance, giving guests the opportunity to explore its nearly thirty acres of landscaped parks and walkways. The waterfront entrance of the hotel is positioned on Boston's Harborwalk. The Boston Harbor Hotel offers guests a wide array of services and dining options. The hotel has 24 hour concierge service, a gift shop, and a full service business center. Meritage is Chef Daniel Bruce's signature restaurant where guests enjoy wine-cuisine pairings; a concept perfected by Bruce at the Boston Wine Festival. The Rowes Wharf Sea Grille offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea service along Boston's waterfront. In the summer, there is outside seating, and the restaurant becomes front row seating for the annual, outdoor Summer in the City Entertainment Series which the hotel has been hosting for ten years. The Rowes Wharf Bar offers a light fare dinner menu alongside its extensive drink selections. The Spa at Rowes Wharf is a full service health club and features a sixty-foot indoor, heated lap pool; an exercise room, personal training, daily fitness classes, and a fully stocked wardrobe of workout attire.

I would go here 100 times over!
Location is wonderful, very romantic and elegant. The service here is absolutely done to perfection, making you feel pampered. A favorite Saturday night leisure time is to sit in the lounge, listening to a jazz ensemble and sip coffee and have dessert with a loved one. This is a must do for a place to go / place to stay!

Democracy at Historic Home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/10/05
The overview should be a lite to those that have the integrities, homelands, and field of endeavors. There is a link to the area, though the theme station should be up for the true testiment. Boston is the center of the real business education. A tour and theme, is beautiful, though the better evenings the ride of the Paul Reverend could be quiet, not traffic.

great getaway close to all
By karen, 8/29/05
this is a place you could call you home away from home. it has a great location to anything in boston. its smack on the water with a beautiful terrace where you can eat and enjoy the ocean and on special nights even view a movie while having dinner or drinks. its just across the street from the world famous quincy market with some of the greatest shops in the city. the north end where you can have the greatest italian food is in walking distance. the new fleet center i could walk to you might like to take a cab. boston commons with the swan boats is just a short walk thru the conner shopping area where you will find the famous filnes basement someplace you cant miss. if your going to boston you can find someplace less expensive but i think it is worth every penny to be near everything you could possible want to do on a visit to boston.

Back to their old ways
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/10/05
Restaurant consistenly Bad. Service and cleanliness below par. Doing well for last couple of years but back to the rear and only *** three stars. Get rid of the upper management.

They came through
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/21/05
We had made a reservation with a hotel company for our anniversary, and when we arrived, the hotel couldn't find the reservation. They were so nice-they gave us a better room than we had reserved for the same price. Nice. The place is so elegant, we didn't want to leave.

Location, location, luxury
By Janice, 9/24/05
I have always thought the architecture of the Boston Harbor Hotel is interesting with it's domed gazebo and archways as well as the tiered levels. It has more eye appeal than most of the boxes of the city. The view of the harbor is another feature which I find romantic. Inside the room the decor was luxurious with a marble bath and elegant furniture. The room service was prompt and courteous and made us feel welcome and at ease. My memories of my stay at the hotel will be with me for a long time (it was where my fiance proposed to me with a 34 diamond ring).
