Not too shabby

Nice location. Reasonable price for the quality. Nice place to stay if you are planning on being in Boston for a day or two.

truly loved the stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/08
I liked the location, ambience, and service! We travelled with kids and felt comfortable leaving them in the room by themselves while we (my husband and I) went to the gym everyday or a late night coffee in the lounge. Loved walking to nearby places along the harbor with our entire family.

service is everything
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/08
I got this room for someone from out of town. I DID NOT want them to bother the guest AT ALL. My credit card was used to hold the room with a deposit. The Asst GM agreed I could come back the next day and pay in full with cash. I left a $300 cash deposit along with my credit card. starting at 10am the next morning my guest was being harassed with phone calls, letters under the door all about "paying your bill or you have to leave". First of all that had my phone number to call me so even if something got lost in translation from the night before I'm the one who should have been called with any problems. Not only was I NOT called but the harassed this guest so much that she packed up, got in a cab and went beck to NYC. She was supposed to stay 2 nights and instead of the rude treatment she left pretty quickly. I felt I deserved an apology a refund and a comp room, I have been offered neither. This is a disgrace that I will not let go of and will make sure many people hear about it. They kept the $300 cash and they charged my card $100. They told me my charge would only be $260.

Good
By chau, 11/22/07
The Boston Harbor Hotel offers incredible service and a curteous staff. The location is very good. The walking distance is only a few minutes away to famous historic places in downtown Boston. The rooms are quite luxurious reasonably priced. The city/harbor views are incredible. The food is great even though it is a bit costly and the overall experience definitely makes you want to go back again.

Simply Excellent
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/02/07
I stayed here for three day and two nights and this is easily one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. The hotel is nicely furnished; it is neither posh nor under-done. The sauna, hot tub, pool, and gym are beautifully laid out and the staff are quite courteous. The rooms are filled with plush bedding, luxurious bath robes and towels, and a magnificent shower. The location is within walking distance to a number of attractions as well as the 'T' (Boston's subway system -- an exceptional and convenient alternative to driving).

The best place for a Wedding
By eleanor, 10/18/06
My Son and Daughter-in- Law were married at the Boston Harbor Hotel. We were so impressed by everything from the rooms to the restaurants and location. The Staff was so helpful the room was beautiful. I have been to several Hotels accross the country and this one is by far the most beautiful one that I have stayed at. I would love to go back and visit again, and would highly recomend this Hotel to everyone I know.

Wouldn't Stay Any Other Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/06
One the best hotel experiences ever. Extremely helpful and courteous staff. A beautiful hotel with a great location. Also, a gorgeous view of the harbor, and a very short distance to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market.

Great if you have a car
By DODIEL, 08/18/06
Everything was great except the location which would have been fine if you have a car rental. I did not feel that the adjacent subway station was safe at night for someone alone. I transferred to the Downtown Doubletree for the last two days of my stay and it was perfect!! The beds and bedding and linens are awesome! Would recommend.

One of a kind
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/06
The BHH is in an ideal location no matter what your agenda. Being on the harbor is a real treat as is taking the water taxi across to Logan Airport if you have the time. A world class hotel that possesses a distinctly Bostonian flavor. Unlike many 4 Seasons etc., at the BHH, you know what city you're in.
