Imperial Swan in Florida: watch the details
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/06
I was told that this hotel was a former
Sheraton. The carpeting was thick in in hallways and room was clean with many
towels and soap. However, one sometimes heard
voices from an ajoining room. The room
given was fairly large but not a non-smoking,
as requested (with the confirmation number).
Details: The disclaimer form which I was directed to sign was a copy of a copy and
therefore not clear. This absolves hotel
management for any nicks done to one's car
while parked in the next-door (free) parking
garage. If paying in cash be sure to ask for
the return of the charge slip used to reserve
your room as well a as receipt marked "paid";the desk clerk is unlikely
to offer one (from personal experience at
this establishment). It was quiet except at 6:15AM when some loud noises woke me.
A business meeting in the town required
my overnight stay; this hotel is located
on a main route (a benefit) but oddly, away from the central business district.
Perhaps the latest fifty-nine dollar per
night offer (per yahoo website)will generate more business for this place; I paid eighty-nine per night ($102 taxes included), first weekend of June, 2006.
