I recently stayed at the Imperial Swan Hotel & Suites in Lakeland Florida. The service I received there was outstanding! With the room being oversized, I could live there. All services, from checking in, my room, fitness center, restaurant, lounge, housekeeping to checking out was amazing. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there every time I go to Lakeland Florida.

I keep going back to this hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/07
The staff are always friendly, the rooms spacious and clean. Somethimes small things don't work and they get them fixed. I've always been given a good price because I go a lot. My kids love it and it's on the South Florida artery so access to places is easy. Compare prices and spaciousness with the Holiday Inn a mile further north..... I feel at ease here. It's not the Hilton, but doesn't pretend to be or to charge their prices. But don't too many or you go there or they'll stop cutting me a deal.

Poor Service!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/06
The staff was rude, and made it seem like a burden with every request. Rooms were in poor shape, and very overpriced!! No Wireless connection above the 3rd floor. Management has no idea on how to run a hotel. Avoid this place like the plague, there are plenty more around for far less, that are worth your money!

Imperial Swan in Florida: watch the details
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/06
I was told that this hotel was a former Sheraton. The carpeting was thick in in hallways and room was clean with many towels and soap. However, one sometimes heard voices from an ajoining room. The room given was fairly large but not a non-smoking, as requested (with the confirmation number). Details: The disclaimer form which I was directed to sign was a copy of a copy and therefore not clear. This absolves hotel management for any nicks done to one's car while parked in the next-door (free) parking garage. If paying in cash be sure to ask for the return of the charge slip used to reserve your room as well a as receipt marked "paid";the desk clerk is unlikely to offer one (from personal experience at this establishment). It was quiet except at 6:15AM when some loud noises woke me. A business meeting in the town required my overnight stay; this hotel is located on a main route (a benefit) but oddly, away from the central business district. Perhaps the latest fifty-nine dollar per night offer (per yahoo website)will generate more business for this place; I paid eighty-nine per night ($102 taxes included), first weekend of June, 2006.

OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/06
Cleanliness needed improvement. They needed more workers. I ate at the resteraunt and one man was cooking, seating, ordering, waiting on guest. The rooms had power outages my first night i asked for towels. About an hour later i recievd them. IOt looked ghreat but the service could've been a little better.

Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/06
We recently went to Orlando and stayed at this hotel. It was horrible. The carpeting is taped down with gray electrical tape, we didn't think the carpet in the room was all that clean so we wore socks the time that we spent in the room and I have had to throw away all of them because they came up black on the bottoms. They say they have a playground, my husband took my son and found that the playground was simply a piece of blue painted concrete. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. The tv only tuned in a couple of channels none of which were the disney channel, they said they got the cartoon network but when we asked what channel it was we were told we had to pay for it.
