Would rather save my money.

After spending almost $300 I expected to feel like a celebrity when I walked in the room. Instead, I felt bad for my fiancee. I felt as though I were at a Holiday Inn; which isn't a bad hotel. But, for the money we paid, I expected just a bit of luxury. Upon finding the refrigerator needed a key, we called the front desk. Busy signal. We called every five minutes for 20 min. still busy! Finally we got a hold of someone who had no idea what we were talking about. My fiancee had to go to the front desk and ask for a key face to face. They weren't sure what he was talking about. Needless to say, we did get a key much later. The drinks inside... you guessed it... expired! The walls and the furniture were scraped up, the room was small and our "ocean view" was comical. Later, we realized that we were never informed of our check out time. We called the front desk. Busy signal. We called again. Still busy. Finally got a hold of Room Service to ask the check out time. She had no idea what we were talking about either. Really? What did my fiancee pay for? Is his money going towards the education of the staff? Or towards renovations? I sure hope so! Holiday Inn, you've earned our respect!!!
