will never go back!

We arrived very late to this hotel and could not even go into the lobby. You had to go around to the back where there was counter to ceiling 1 1/2 inch thick Plexiglas (should have been my first clue). We had 3 adults and 2 children in a room with 2 double beds. When I asked for a roll away bed, they refused to get one saying "they couldn't leave the office" (should have been my second clue). The doors to the rooms are on the outside and the outside walls were covered in little white bugs. I called a different hotel in Carlisle, PA and they said they had a room available and could have a cot in the room when we got there. I went back to the "Plexiglas counter" to see about getting my money back so I could go to a hotel that could accommodate me. She told me that even though I had paid through Expedia (third mistake), she would check us out and I wouldn't be charged for the second night (I had 3 witnesses that heard her say that). I would have to go back to Expedia to get the first night.
When I called Expedia the next day, they told me that since the hotel couldn't accommodate me, that I would have to go through the hotel. When I called the hotel and talked to the manager, they first told me they still had me checked in to that room. I was also checked into a hotel in Carlisle (not yet sure how I managed that magic act). I clearly have a receipt that says that I checked out about 30 minutes after I checked in. The manager then said that since I paid through Expedia, they haven't given them any money yet, so it would be up to Expedia to refund the money. (Starting to see the anger and frustration rise?)
It has been more than 2 weeks and so far, the hotel has informed me that they only charged me for one night and Expedia is refusing to give me a refund for the second night (that the hotel never charged them for...) I will not go to this hotel again and I will not use Expedia again.
