We*re dog friendly! 10.00usd fee per stay. America West Airline magazine recently featured Prescott, calling it one of the Southwest*s most charming and authentic destinations. There*s old west history: Prescott has over 600 buildings on the national Register of Historic Places. At the same time, Prescott is the site of what will soon be the largest solar production plant in the world. 3 reviews for Americas Best Value Inn, Prescott
Okay for a one night stay
By LindaH, 06/25/07
The beds are way too hard. The people were very nice though. Very thoughtful. I like the location - very easy to find and convenient.

The Inn was perfect! The area was extremely quiet, allowing us quite a bit of good rest. The beds were firm, but that was great for my husband (bring your own pillows though, or ask for extra). The room, including bathroom, carpet, and bed were spotless, VERY clean! There was plenty of room, unlike what you sometimes get at higher end hotels. Plenty of places for storage of clothes, and a safe in every room for valuables. The breakfast was exactly what it described, muffins and juice. The TV set was one of the newer flat screen LCD TVs, which you don't normally find in motels. Unlike at other motels, you CAN open the window, and that is great! The area was so quiet we slept all night with the window open and traffic didn't disturb us at all, even at rush hour morning drive time (we stayed on a weekday). And overall, we had a wonderful experience. We have family in Prescott, so when we come back we would definately stay there again! This place went above and beyond what we expected. A tip for those trying to find it; The sign for the Inn doesn't stand out to you, until you know what you are looking for. Look for the college- it is right across the street from it on Sheldon, if coming from 89 its on the left and if you reach the stop light at the college, you've gone about a quarter of a block too far; if coming from Downtown Prescott, look for the college and when you reach the stop light at the college (not hwy 89) its right after the light, if you reach the stop light on hwy 89 you've passed it.

Now named America's Best Valve Hotel
By kna, 01/31/06
Total waste of money. Pillows were tiny, towels were thin, the entrance smelled like an ash tray. The continential breakfast was a joke and the orange juice was so watered down, you could see through it. When I asked the employee about the juice, she said "taste like OJ to me" and walked away. There were no comment cards in the room or at the counter. And of course the staff did nothing about the intoxicated couple that kept talking very loudly in the hotel hallway and outside of our window in the parking lot between 1230 AM until after 2 AM. Don't stay here.
