Comfort Inn Salisbury, Salisbury

The room we had was supposed to be non-smoking however when you walked in you could sense a smoking odor. The bathroom door didn't fully close, no pool, and the AC didn't work a lick in our room. We had come from Ocean City and paid less money to stay on the beach (literally) in a much bigger room. The service was good, the location to shopping excellent, and many restaurants right there. They did have a breakfast included, however it was very limited. I expected more for the price I paid however!!!

The room was not clean. Dust around all of the corners of the carpet. Found jelly beans from a previous visitor on the flour, also found some change. Windows were so dirty they could barely be seen out of. The doors from the parking lot were filthy--not worn paint, it was dirt and dirty handprints. The entry glass doors to the lobby were covered with fingerprints and smudges. The next day they were still there. I felt unclean while we stayed there and I am not a phobic about cleanliness. We would have moved on if we hadn't been really tired. Left really early the next day--didn't even stay for breakfast. Poor value for the room.

My boyfriend and I got a suite with a king bed and loved it! The pillows were so comfortable and the suite itself looked great. It was so clean and spacious..even the bathroom!! We had one of the whirlpool bathtubs and it was amazing! I highly recommend the Comfort Inn in Salisbury and will be returning!!

Very fast friendly check in.. Staff knew good local places to eat, other than chain places.. Room was very clean odor free and the comfortable beds were made so that you stretch out without being cramped and fall apart when turned down!! We traveled with our pet and had a 1st floor room near the exit.. Enjoyed the breakfast bar, but it needs some ventilation.. PARENTS traveling with little children need to supervise them !!! Playing with the dishes and eating utensils at home might be cute, but not in public places where others need to eat.. Part of the parking lot is used by locals to cut through to the shopping center..

At 80 years old, I have stayed at many motels in my time. I can say, without reservation, (no pun intended) The Salisbury Comfort Inn provides more amenities and just plain good things than any motel that I have ever stayed at, at any price. I have gone out of my way when another motel might have been more covenient just to stay there. I hope all the good things that people say about this motel doesn't spoil them.

My fiance and I just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel. This was our first trip to Ocean City, MD and after seeing the prices of hotels right at the beach area and also finding out most of them were booked, we started looking elsewhere. My search brought me to the many hotels in Salisbury. I read many reviews about this hotel before making my reservation. To be honest, what attracted me to it most, aside from it being only about a half hour drive from OC, was the price. I could not believe I was getting a room with a king sized bed and jacuzzi tub for less than $70/night. On a Saturday night! But after staying there, I can tell you this, the hotel has much more to offer than just the reasonable price. The staff was super-friendly, which as you know that itself is hard to come by these days. Our room was immaculately cleaned and very spacious. There was a king bed, as well as a pull out sofa bed and oversized chair with ottoman. We also made use of the refrigerator to store some drinks we had brought with us for the beach. And the location... AMAZING! The hotel is right in the middle of town with a Walmart, Target, Best Buy, McDonald's, Chili's, Applebee's, Petsmart... you name it, all in walking distance. And as I said, the drive to Ocean City wasn't bad at all. We checked out this morning and enjoyed the free deluxe continental breakfast, which was awesome. My only slightly-less-than-perfect comment would be about the bed. I didn't think it was the most comfortable ever, but it did serve its purpose so I can't complain. So needless to say, we will be back here, without a doubt. I am ready to plan my next trip now!

The hotel was in a good location near lots of shopping and restaurants. It actually had an Applebee's in the front yard! The staff was wonderful, especially the housekeeper who cleaned my room, Veronica. Everyone and everything was really great. From check-in to the continental breakfast, it was a very nice experience and I hope to return soon.
