The Inn at Blackbeard's Castle, Charlotte Amalie

We stayed at Blackbeard's in the Summer of 2002. Our room included a separate living area with a kitchenette and a balcony with a nice view of the harbor. Blackbeard's is located in the hilltops above the town of Charlotte Amalie. The history behind the Castle was fascinating to us, and we spent a couple of afternoons lying by the pool and at the tiki bar. The restaurants at the Inn offered outside dining and had a nice atmosphere. Because we wanted to see surrounding islands and spent a great deal of time away from the Inn, we felt that the Inn offered a great value. While we were there the Inn was undergoing renovations, so the cleanliness was somewhat compromised. But, overall we enjoyed our stay and would reccommend the Inn at Blackbeard's Castle.
