Costa Del Sol Resort, Fort Lauderdale

The family happening location a walk away from popular restaurants, shopping, and week end activities, all rooms facing the beach, bring rhe family to enjoy Florida for what it is in this small town with the hidden jewel location. Only drawback here.... Internet, the resort's on again off again Internet cannot be counted, again this year.

I think the person complaining about Costa is very rude. This place is amazing! I am not a time share owner but i go there often and i can tell you it is a place of relaxation. How dare you make this place out to be some dump. You have no right you probably have never been to the place because you wouldn't be saying that if you experienced the true Costa Del Sol. I can tell you it is place where you can bring the kids or have a relaxing time. The ocean views are priceless. This place is modern facility! Costa is my second home and I love it there. Oh and the beds were great to sleep on no complaints , this place is clean and tidy! The place TO BE !

Great resort right on the beach. Lauderdale by the Sea is a rather outdated resort town. Costa del Sol appears to be one of the more modern and you can't beat the location for family fun. All of the rooms have either an ocean or pool view. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Wonderful offshore snorkling right outside of the resort.

This place is amazing! I have been there 6 timesand it is a great place. Really relaxing and quiet. The town is just a walk away. It has amazing weather. The value is quiet expensive. It starts at 175 and goes all the way up near 300 dollars a night. However, the money is all worth it. You have a coffee shop to relax and watch tv. You have an ocean steps away. There is hardly anyone in the pool, it is just amazing. I love costa Del sol. You have to go there. And about the bed bug family. I am discugsted by what you wrote. Not once did it smell bad or have horrible service. This place is only five star. The best it deserves!

Costa Del Sol is a wonderful, exceptionally clean & well run resort...Shame on the bed bug family for their nasty review! It is so very nice that my husband & I would like to purchase units. It is a shame that vacationers have bad experiences..and more so that they had one at CDS, but....for what it's worth..We've stayed at Hilton's to Best Western's and find CSD lodging to be the best of the best! Keep it up, CDS!!

We have been going to Costa for several years now and no matter where else we go we compare it to Costa.

I can only surmise the previous two reviews were from timeshare owners hoping to sell out. This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. If you're a non-smoker, you'll need to bring your own oxygen mask. The photos on their website must be as old as the mattresses and sheets. The place is dingy, smelly, cheaply furnished w/hundreds of rules telling you what you cannot do. But they do tell you they will count the forks when you leave. . . . Sleeping in your car would be preferable to this place. PS: NO internet connection. . . add that to another one of their "no's".

My husband and I have been vacationing in Lauderdale-by-the-sea for the last 7 years. As we have vacationed all throughout Florida for the past 25 years, we fell in love with this town immediately...so much that we purchased three weeks (2-April / 1-November) at this resort. Close to everything - Great Resort...Highly recommended.
