Don't bother

I just stayed overnight since I had to be out of my apartment for maintenance work. From my arrival onward, service was poor. The general manager didn't know how to run my credit card (he had to ask me for it twice). The bar and kitchen have no regular hours (you have to call the front desk--only open to 8 pm--to get a drink or room service). The "continental breakfast" was delivered with no sweetener for the coffee at all (I'd asked for Equal). I got no newspaper (the L.A. Times was promised). There were none of the promised "snacks" in the honor bar. There were no pool towels available anywhere near the pool at night (after the staff went home at 8).
Even though my room was as far from the street as possible, street noise was still very noticeable (the place is right on Highway 111). As for the facilities, the room curtains wouldn't close fully. Neither would the blinds on the window directly over the bed. The high-tech room air conditioner had no instructions for use, and was so noisy (even on the "baby sleeping" setting) that I slept maybe an hour at a time. And at checkout, the general manager again asked me for my credit card.
