This bed-and-breakfast is located on a quiet residential street within walking distance of almost anything in Carmel. You'll pass by a delightful fountain in the courtyard before you enter the place. A charming white house on the outside, the inn has lovely romantic rooms on the inside, each with a spectacular view of the sunset. The service is impeccable. Visitors receive the utmost attention from the owners. It has been a perfect place for tourists for many years. The proprietor will even arrange a wine tour for you.

We are definitely going back!

We loved the ambience of the B&B and the location was great being so close to the beach and seeing the sunset! We also enjoyed having the complimentary amenities provided which we enjoyed, along with the credit which we used for breakfast at IlFornio. We had a lovely stay and we will definitely go back and plan to do so at least once a year. We stay at Pebble Beach and then we shift to Sunset House and for an entirely different feel as if you are a local living in the village I would highly recommend this venue. Many differences at Sunset House from the listing. The price range is $190-$230, 4 suites/2 floors, no modem/fax/photocopy service, no child care, no kosher foods, part-time innkeeper, no spa/massage/hot tub, no balcony/terrace, visit their website for complete accurate information at www.sunsethousecarmel.com. Nice place, private, close to beach/restaurants/shops, guest parking is huge plus. You won't feel like a guest at someone else's home, they make you feel at home.
