Motel 6 Tropicana, Las Vegas

I found this place to be affordsable clean updated rooms yea some of the rooms were out dated but for the price compared to over rated over priced hotels / motels don't knock it plus they have internet access when i go to vegas I spend money on my visit not my lodging. unless I'm there to impress a girl... just means more money to gamble with ... lol

Don't stay here very dangerous gun slinging security guards. He seemed mad at the world trying to make up any reason to pull there guns on people. Not a safe environment why did anyone let these men have guns in the first place this guy acted very childish making up lies telling me, "Havn't i told you not to come back here." I said. "I've never been here before this is my first time here" He lied, " we have you on file." If you guys have me on file whats my name when was i there? I have never been there before i just started a job handing out fliers several witnesses watched with disbelief asking why he did that the reason i was able to get away i think is he realised there was a witness and backed off for a quick moment then he said " run scronny white boy" I said something back. Then he hopped in his cart and chased me and tryed to jump behind me i backed out and drove away as i was backing out he pulled his gun on me a second time. i was told to go there and put out fliers next thing i know i have him in my face pushing me up against the wall trying to hand cuff ,me he had no right when I've never been there before. Luckily someone was watching add said something so he backed off for a second because there was a witness. I was told by my boss you won't be arrested or even trespassed your first time passing out fliers at a place they only can ask you to leave then if you come back they can trespass you and if you come back again they can arrest you. Well this dirty security gaurd who should never have been given a gun and thank god hes not a cop! Just what we need right? I called the cops on them and of course cops took forever so for our own safety we found a way to leave and left they kept trying to box us in these SO CALLED SECURITY were very dangerous and do not belong having guns people like that is the reason we have gun laws and reason innocent hard working people end up dead! Be careful if you stay there these gaurds think its ok to pull a gun on you for no reason and are looking for a excuse to shoot anyone they can. Its possible this man is x military with pds be careful not a safe place for family why do these guys have guns anyways its not a casino or anything like this just a motel. Mace should suffice. They are there to protect the guest not cause dangerous situations for working people like this! I hope this mans boss finds out and he loses his job someone needs to take his gun before some innocent teenager, kid or young adult ends up dead. I'm going to do everything i can to see this happen. If anyone can help notify the public of this issue or at least have this man told to quit being so quick to draw a gun please feel free to help thanks. I think anyone that has a gun should at least have to do a short psych evaluation showing that they are stable mentally and when they come back from over seas if they have psd they should get the proper help they can because i appreciate everything those men do for are country but that doesn't give them a excuse to pull there gun on innocent people and not follow procedures.

THE ONLY THING I REALLY LIKED WAS THAT IT HAD A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE SHOWER FOR MY HUSBAND. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GROSS AND NASTY. THE MATTRESS SUNK IN THE MIDDLE AND THERE WERE ANTS. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DON'T CLEAN THOSE ROOMS THOROUGHLY. I ALWAYS BRING MY OWN DISINFECTANT AND LINEN, PILLOWS, TOWELS ETC.

having the rooms cleaned, i have a 2 year old that walks around on those carpets, within 10 min i picked her up, and her feet were black. our tv didnt work, and when maintance came up and fixrd it, it was strill very blurry and fuzzy. there were dead spiders on the toilet and in the show area.... horrible experiance never again will i stay with motel 6

the manager was rude and treated us like we needed to stay there with no smile her name was Lisa the roomas were small and dirty also the dirty looking concierge was rude as well and only wanted to sell strip club passes and was priced higher than the magazines ,,,prostitutes were offered at the concierge desk ,,,man tis a getto dump

Can stay on the strip for less, with better rooms and better service.'Stayed one night, than went to MGM Grand for less $$'s

I don't care what they say, i say this is the best place to stay. i ask everyone to say here at motel 6 cuz you will have fun, save money, you get to spend alot for something else then paying alot to stay at other motels in the area. you get to go home with a big smile on your face, believe me. if you wantta a vacation, this is the place for you and your family. staff here are wonderful, you will feel secured, save gas, you don't have to drive at all. thank motel 6 opening your door and let me stay for the whole week....yahoo...want home with lots of money. can't wait to visit again.

If you're looking for a cheap, clean place to stay and that is close to everything, this is the place. I would rather spend my money on other things in Vegas so this was perfect for us. Yeah, it's small and doesn't have a lot of amenities but how often are you in your room in Vegas anyway? Plus it accepts pets and we took our dog. I was really suprised how close it was to the strip. MGM is diaganally across the street.

We requested a non-smoking room, and as soon as we opened the door all we could smell was cigarettes. Next to the bed is an ashtray that is placed upside down with a non-smoking symbol on the bottom. The blanket looked like someone used their knife on it and it had many burn marks.The next day we were shorted bath towels. My dad stayed in the next room and that night his elbow bleed, leaving a small spot on the underside of the sheet. The next night when my dad was ready for bed, he turned the blankets back and the spot of blood was there. The sheets had never been changed.

Thought it might be noisy at night, being in Vegas after all, but it was clean, quiet, near to all you need. Airport right there and speedy service every day. I will be back.
