Motel 6 West Baton Rouge, Port Allen

Dirty floors (blackened the soles of our feet), smokey smell in non-smoking room, very loose front door handle (unsecure?), stained sheets/towels, only 1 staff working overnight, constant loud freeway noise. Motel is 'newly remodeled' but not clean or maintained. Only stay here in an emergency, and then get out ASAP in the morning like we did!

NEVER AGAIN!!! The lady that was working the 3pm - 11pm shift was super nice (3/6/10). The room was dirty, the floors were sticky and filthy, the bathtub had had hair all int he bottom. The telephone did not work in the room. The door was very hard to open and close to enter and exit the room. ** That nite when I went to take a shower the water coming out of the faucet was BLACK and DIRTY!!!!! This was terrible. I have stayed at this Motel 6 several times since the remodeling was done after the Hurricane and my stay was pleasant. It is getting back to the same it was before the Hurricane!!! SAD, SAD, SAD, SAD, POOR, POOR, POOR, POOR, POOR MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! I could tell the time before that the rooms were not as clean like in February 2010 when I stayed, but the March 6, 2010 visit was terrible and I will not be back. Very filthy and Nasty and the price went up!!!! POOR, POOR, POOR MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
