Bedford Inn, Erie

The theme suites are excellent. I love the Hawaiian. I cannot to try the other 7. Great getaway for a weekend or week night. Regular rooms very nice and affordable also. Everyone should check this place out. Staff very courteous and nice.

this place is not "nice" -- it's cheap ($30.00) and sleasy... the pictures do not do it any justice!!

This place is good for "quick" visits... $30.00 for a room for a few hours... what's that about?? not exactly my type of place... great place for cheating spouses...

We had four couples staying in the suites after a wedding reception further up in Michigan. First of all, we were quoted one price on the phone upon booking them. Three of the rooms was booked under one person's credit card, luckily we all knew each other, and as we checked in we were told a higher price and the initial price was not honored. Then as we were checking out each others rooms we found vomit on the patio in one of the rooms, two out of the four hot tubs would not stay hot, there were tiny little bugs all over the rooms as well as dead ones lying on the floor boards. The place has not been renavated since it was opened. The bathrooms need to be remodeled. Next time, I will check out the Belamere Suites located in Perryburg, OH., which I have heard nothing but great things about!

The picture on the internet made the place look so great. We got there and the place was dumpy, the outside wasn't kept and the room itself was a very nice set up, but not clean. Wallpaper was peeling off walls, the couch was very dirty looking. We were very dissapointed in our stay. We paid too much for something that wasn't worth it at all. There is no pool that the internet says it has. If what I saw was a pool, our bathtub was bigger!! When you first get to the hotel after you travel miles through white trash ville, you arrive at the Bedford Inn. The sign was falling apart and needed a paint job, there were x-mas lights still on the sign that were barely hanging on. When you go to check in your greeted by Hilly Billy Jim behind bullet proof glass whos more worried about the adult videos on t.v. then checking you in, We get to our room and if it wasnt for the alcohol and the lack of sleep we were running on from or wedding day we would of left the place in a second. The room itself was poorley kept up, The t.v. never worked, for the fireplace yeah it looked nice but you could never turn the thing on, all the light fixtures were broke or missing. The complimentary breakfast they offer or should I say lack of breakfast they offer, I think the p.o.w's in Nam were offered more then what they had, English muffins cut in half doesnt cut it with me. Overall this place was horrible if your looking for white trach heaven you have found it, if your looking for something with a little more class im sure the Super 8 up the street is 1000 times better.

The hot tubs and the price were perfict. I would always stay here if not for having bills to pay. I hope you take the chance and try it out for your self. Every time there is an anniversery or just a get away my husband and I enjoy staying here.

When we went there they had a jacuzzi tub that you fill yourself. I filled it and then a few minutes later we went to get in and it hadn't been cleaned. There was dead skin and hair floating all over the tub. We called management and they courteously brought us cleaner so that we could clean it ourselves! Don't go to this inn.

If you need to "escape" from the humdrum working world for a night or two...and can't afford a vacation....this is the place to go! There are several themed suites, all with jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. With Toledo, OH just 2 minutes down the road, you'll find everything you need to enjoy a romantic getaway!!! We go atleast twice a year and re-kindle our marriage! FANTASTIC!!!
