Days Inn Elk Grove Village Schaumburg, Elk Grove Village

The hotel is in suburb of Chicago- 25 miles from downtown area. The hotel is located in isolated place and no bus or train service for this place. I suffered lot in my stay. Although I am not explaining whole story, my advice is PLEASE DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL

The previous review was probably written by the manager of the hotel. My experience was terrible. I was there for one night. It was in a shady area. Darty parking lot. The hotel front desk people made billing error during the check-out time. It was not just an error. The front desk deceitfully charged extra. Food and beverage was awful. Breakfast room was "closed". You need to stand and eat. The coffee (the only beverage) was not warm. The pieces of bread were hard, apparently several days old. I could not eat the bread after the first bite. There was no other food or beverage available. The water pressure of the shower in the bathroom was terrible. Water was hardly coming out of the shower pipe. I have stayed in more than 100 hotels in the US and this was a unique experience. The internet access experience was awful too. I could connect to the internet but the internet speed was slower than any dial up connection that I ever used in the past. I could hardly go to news/email websites -- as it was taking forever. There it was showing an option to upgrade to higher internet speed for which I had to pay -- this was outrageous, as the internet was supposed to be free as mentioned in the Days Inn website. Never think of staying there!
