New Concord Inn, Wisconsin Dells

A very pleasant place to stay. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pools and slides - which are really designed for younger children, but our ten year old loved it too. The staff was very helpful with local recommendations and gave service with a smile. The rooms were pleasant and clean. I noticed there were whirlpool suites which looked very nice. I think we will come back without the kids for our anniversary. I would recommend this place to families with young children and for romantics. Good value for money.

I was 71/2 months pregnant with 11 month old twins & when we got to our room, we realized the AC was broken. We contacted the owner/manager who informed us that they had left for the evening & we would have to wait until 7:30 AM for assistance. Well, it was HOT, and we wanted a different room for the evening, but they REFUSED to come in to assist us, told us we were overexagerating & treated us with the highest level of disrespect I have ever experienced! These people do not value their customers comfort, satisfaction or concerns for their infants. Please DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Very nice and accommodating staff. The rooms were a nice size and clean. The pool was also very nice with the waterslides and BIG kiddie pool area. We were traveling with my 2 year old and it was perfect for him and he seemed to really enjoy it. They have a nice lobby sitting area were you can sit at night and visit if you have kids sleeping in room. No continental breakfast but good coffee and tea all day long. Only con I have is they say wireless internet but I could not get it when I was in our room, only when I was in the lobby area. They did go above and beyond to help try to get it to work but it just wouldn’t connect. But all in all it was a great stay and we would definitely go back as long as the rates stay reasonable.

Our children, ages 4-9 loved the waterpark. Clean, very basic rooms, beds were comfortable. Can't beat the price. Highly recommend for someone wanting to save a few bucks on their vacation.

this hotel is great on the budget. the rooms are basic and nice. the indoor pool was great for my nephews (5 & 7). i liked it because it was comfortable and quiet. pleasant staff.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite on November 10, 2007. The staff was so nice and the hotel was so quiet. We would go back again. That was our 15th year anniversary.

We loved the New Concord Inn. The staff was extremely pleasant, from taking our reservation, to getting more pillows, they were great!! It is outdated, but it is very clean. Our 3 and 5 year olds LOVED the indoor pool. The water was always warm, and never very busy, unlike the big waterparks. You can't beat getting 2 free Mt. Olympus tickets per night. It was great!!! We will definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at the New Concord Inn from Oct.19-21, 2006. Our 3 kids had a blast in the pool which is perfect for 10 years old and under. No worry to loose the sight of them! The rooms were very clean, the staff very helpful and accomodating. We'll definitely return in the summer. I'm surprised at some of the comments; maybe they should go to the big resorts and pay 5 times as much. On the other hand, they'd complain about something there too.

This place was great. It's inexpensive and close to everything. Our room was clean and provided a nice place to retreat in after a day of activities. It's just a room to sleep in, not stay in...there's so much to do around the dells. I thought the staff was really nice and the overall place was well kept. Somethings like the bedspreads and curtains are outdated but who cares, unless you're expecting to pay for aesthetic pleasure. Reserve that for the luxury spots. But what does it matter what the curtains look like when you're sleeping? Is that what you need the room for? Who cares about that other stuff so long as your sheets are clean, your towels are there, and you dont have to pay a fortune for a place you'll only spend a few hours in. I read some other reviews and it's unfortunate that some had negative experiences...that will happen anywhere and everywhere. I've stayed in all classes of hotels and this one, for being a 2 or 3 star spot was cleaner than some 5 star places I've been in. I would like to come back again.

this hotel...new concord inn, had to be the worst hotel i have ever stayed in...it was not worth the price i paid at all...no continental breakfast...what the heck....no shampoo or soap in the rooms...pillows were flatter than pancakes, the pool was freezing. this hotel is so old and ugly inside its unreal...you must do alot of updating, and lower your prices too....
