Sleepless in Muskogee
The room itself wasn't bad, although the tiny shower left me feeling like I was standing under a broken pipe in a phone booth. The decor was dated and shabby, but all hotel rooms look the same with the light off, and for this price I didn't expect nor require the Ritz. However, neither I nor my companion slept a wink, as the hotel is adjacent to a highway that had loud semi-trucks going by all night long. It was incredibly loud in our room...we resorted to playing music to try to drown out the noise. If you stay here, be sure to request a room at the back of the motel if you are in the least bit bothered by noise.
