Irwins Mountain Inn, Banff

We visited Irwins Mountain last year Feb 05, The moment we walked through the front door we were made to feel welcome, The reception staff made checking in quick and easy, When we reached our room we were surprised how roomy it felt, Perhaps we were lucky as our room had a high ceiling, Facing the front of the property was'nt a problem either, as we never heard any noise, The amenities were good for the size of Irwins, The hot tub was welcome, to help the aching muscles after a day on the slopes, The gym was good with a good level of equipment, The rooms were cleaned every day and the maids never rushed you to vacate the room in the morning, as sometimes we had a lie in, The position of Irwins was close enough to down town for us to have a leisurely walk to the towns shops, restaurants etc, The El Toro restaurant adjoined to the Irwins was good value for breakfast and evening meals, the Irwins is very good quality for the price, the whole place was warm, clean and comfortable, We are so pleased with the Irwins Mountain Hotel, six of us are coming back again this year mar 06 for another two week stay.
