A comfortable, family run 2 -star hotel
We had 3 rooms for 4 days. Carpets in our rooms were new, yet simple. Our bathrooms sparkled, fresh towels every day, and moisturing soap, shampoo, conditioner and hair dryers provided. The interior design is simple and clean with a TV and telephone in each room. Our breakfasts at the hotel started our day off great. Each one of us had a croissant with a half baguette, cheese, yogurt, fruit, orange juice and of course our choice of hot beverage. The first day we all had breakfast delivered to our rooms. The following days we had it in the breakfast room, a typical Paris "cave" but bright and sparkling clean. The common area has a TV and a computer with internet access. A nice place for us to gather for a short while to talk to other residents or discuss the day ahead or what we did that day.The best for us were the lovely couple who own the hotel, the people who work there and the location. Bon Marche, St. Germain and the Latin Quarter are close by as well as the metro. If you are looking for a hotel reminiscent of "Provence" this is not your hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable, well-run, clean hotel in Paris well situated in the St. Germain area, this is a great choice. My stars reflect a rating for a 2 star hotel.
