Austria Trend Hotel Ananas, Vienna

The cleanininess the first 2 days. The breakfast room, the service with the breakfast people. Very helpfull and smilimg. very proffesional. Nothing to add reallz perfect. Well placed and direct public transport Negative Aspects A "4 star hotel room with no bathtub?" A couple and and a 4 year old child and they were expecting us to accept 3 single beds; We had booked for a double bed and a childs bed No internet connection in rooms

Location Fair since is close to an underground station (PillgramGasse) Clean but dont wait clean sheets every day nor clean towels i doubt they change them. Service Terrible !!!! we `ve been 2 times in the hotel`s restaurant and it took 1,5 hour to be served . Also in the Hotels cafe their is no service and any kind of coffee you order you will always get the same coffee in diferent glass.... Capuccino (they have a coffe machine and it only makes capuccino ) Also if you dont get up early for the breakfast and you get down after 8:30 you will not find coffee or juice . They dont refill the machines if they run out !

THE ROOMS ARE SMALL WITH NO AMENITIES. THERE IS NO SHAMPOO OR SOAP IN THE BATHROOM BUT AT LEAST IS CLEAN. THERE WAS TOO MUCH NOISE IN THE MORNING-YOU CANNOT STAY IN BED AFTER 8 O'CLOCK. THE BREAKFAST WAS POOR FOR THE MONEY WE PAID AND YOU HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR TO FIND A FREE TABLE TO SIT AND WAIT ANOTHER HALF HOUR FOR SOMEBODY TO CLEAN IT. IT IS FAR FROM THE CITY CENTRE TO GO ON FOOT BUT BY TRAIN IT'S 5 MINUTES AWAY. GENERALLY THE STAFF OF THE RECEPTION IS GOOD AND HELPFUL. I FIND IT VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THIS KIND OF ROOMS AND SERVICE THEY OFFER. I WILL NEVER CHOOSE THIS HOTEL

The main floor areas are attractive. There is a small gift shop and you can buy time on a computer in the lobby for internet access. The rooms, themselves, though, leave much to be desired. They are very plain. No amenities like the little shampoos and soaps - instead the soap is in a container like you see in a high school shower room. No washcloth either - I guess that is a luxury. The room had a shower, no tub. If you have younger children, be aware that the tv has a few free minutes of x-rated stuff on one of the channels, even though the station is pay tv. So flipping through the channels could give you a big surprise.
