Tropical Breeze Resort - Siesta Key, Siesta Key

This is not a resort. It is clusters of small houses and older two story buildings scattered throughout several streets. Our unit was in an older two story building. The room looked old, worn out and the bedroom and bathroom was dirty. The sheets were worn thin and did not smell clean and the bedspread was nasty and old. The bathroom was dirty as if TB supposed cleaning crew NEVER cleaned the room between guests. The variations between all these great and horrible reviews is ones 'luck of the draw' as to which house, unit and in what building you get stuck with. Also, if you are counting on a good nights sleep forget it. Between our old and lumpy mattress and nasty bed cover we were blessed to be in the midst of people partying with loud music all night long,,no sleep for us and no management on call to try and get the partying riot under control at 3:30am , but then the mattress was so terrible we would not have been able to sleep anyhow. This was NOT what I expected from the photos I saw on their website. And the worn out bed, linens and lack of cleaning was the last straw for us. We will not be back.

Our room was filthy. Pillows and blankets were stained and we couldn't get them replaced until the next day. We had sugar ants on the kitchen counter and they were never taken care of. The refrigerator was filthy.They used a mop to wash tile floors-just swabbed, dirt and grime in all corners of the room. Very few light bulbs. Had to ask for more.Odd shaped shower-couldn't shower without curtain sticking to you-shower was leaky-never fixed-bathroom fan did not work at all-these complaints were made to the office staff to no avail. I was told I could have a late check out from one individual and then was called later by another staff memeber to say we couldn't have a late check out. While I believe their intentions were good, their follow up was extremely poor to non existant. I could not, in good conscience, recommend this place to even someone I didn't care for.

It was very easy to find at first. After we found it, the office was 2 blocks away and the map to find our room was scatterred all over the place and not easy to understand at all!!! We got to the room and it had some nice appliances but cheaply put together renovations. The walls were incredibly thin. I could hear the conversation of everyone in the room next to us. It was a nightmare! It was very hard to sleep, The light in the bathroom was on an invisible timer, it just kept coming on! They called me 20 times every other minute after 10 a.m. check out time arrived. Did not give us a chance to get the baby together at all. It was not worth the money. No parking for the beach, hard to find parking for your room. No organization, roaches, the maid staff waited outside the room for an hour with the car on outside the door. It was a nightmare. I will never go back.

I loved the Tropical Breeze The newley remodled rooms are amazing they are all decorated slightly diffrent which makes them unique the staff is awesome and will help you with directions and good place to eat anything you need. Also they dont have daily house keeping which is great becouse I dont want anyone in my room going threw my things so you get to keep your privacy. walking distance to the village and walking distance to the beach and the beach is private! I never want to go anywhere else on vacation the tropical breeze resort is priceless I have traveled many places and stayed in many hotels but not one like this you have to see it to believe it! My wife and I wanated a night out and I went to the front desk to ask if they new any babysitter services and they had recomandations but I was kinda iffy on weather I should call so the girl at the front desk came down and babysat when she got off work for us there so awesome and such a friendly staff!!!

This was the best experience we have had ever. The bed was comfortable. The customer service provided by the staff was very professional and eager to meet the needs of everyone we saw check in. The rooms were immaculate and intimate. We especially enjoyed the tropical scene in the rooms as well as the flat screen TV. Our room had an abundance of television channels so we were right at home. The all white kitchen appliances gave a unique appeal. The location to the strip was very appeasing as we did not need our rental car. Everything was within walking distance, food, drinks, grocery store, shops, dry cleaners, etc. We highly recommend this resort to anyone. The swimming pool was very clean. Because of our pleasant experience, we will continue to return annually to this BEST KEPT SECRET IN SEISTA KEY..Tropical Breeze Resort. Thanks for a great time.

Before my visit to the resort I was extremely skeptical. I had read bad review after bad review. We decided to go ahead and keep our reservation despite what we had read and it turned out to be wonderful. We stayed in a newly remodeled room that we found to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic. We were less than three minutes, in either direction, of siesta key beach and many restaraunts and bars. We did not have to drive anywhere for a week straight. There are grocery stores and gift shoppin close by in addition to the restaraunts and night life. I would recommend Tropical Breeze Resort to couples and families looking to spend sometime beach side!

Clean, Great area, the staff was very accomadating and actually upgraded us at no cost closer to sunset point. The set up was private and everyone on the key was friendly and pleasent....Will be back soon

We found Tropical Breeze by chance driving around Siesta Key and fell in love with it. We got a great room right across the street from the beach. Siesta Beach is by far the best beach around. Had a great relaxing time and the girls at the front desk were really nice. We will definitely go back and recommend to our friends.

Very very nice! Would go again!! Originally we had a very small room.......much smaller then we were lead to believe. It was quickly up graded...more $$$ :-( BUT, this suite was super!!

I can't believe there are so many bad reviews. We just stayed in a 1 bdrm large suite and it was great. The guest services were also very helpful. We were on our honeymoon and loved the location to the beach and also to the village. My husband and I both thought this would be a great place to go back to. We had a wonderful stay.
