Tropical Breeze Resort of Siesta Key, Siesta Key

We have stayed at several different places owned by Tropical Breeze. The locations are all very good (close to the beach and town), but they definitely could use some work as far as cleanliness and upkeep. Every bathroom had mold in the tub and/or shower. It seems like no unit has any particular theme (alot of mismatched furniture, accessories that don't match the furniture (alot of odd brown and drab colors). The pools are nice but are TOO WARM. It is not even refreshing to go for a swim. The sheets and towels could be update or laudered better. The towels are rough and a lot of the linens for the beds look dirty. My son even commented, "Mom, the towels are crunchy." I know it must be expensive to decorate, furnish, and supply linens to these places. Although that is true, for the price that is charged to stay in these units, I expected them to be a bit nicer.

Great place and we will certainly be back. We were somewhat concerned about the prior reviews but after we got there were impressed. Though some of the room "things" could be updated they certainly worked well for us and we had everything that we needed. A family member had a wedding on the beach so we had a large family group there & we all had a great time. The many variety of rooms worked well for everyone.

I just recently stayed in Siesta Key and it was perfect. The room was very close to the beach and the shops and restaurants. It is a very quaint property..It was nice because everything was a little bit different, not like a hilton or hyatt and everything exactly the same. My kids loved the beach and my husband and I really enjoyed the nightlife. Perfect for a family vacation.

Siesta Key is a beautiful and wonderful place however the Tropical Breeze was the worst hotel I have ever been too. Other than the location there was nothing good about it. It was tiny, there were no closets and the 2 beds were right next to each other. There was a couch in the kitchen and the tv was on top of the fridge. The kitchen table sat in the doorway. The place was a mess. We were told that we were responsible for taking out the trash and that we should wait for repairmen when our fan didn't work and then when trying to fix it they turned off our electricity. It was so bad we went to look for another place to stay and were lucky to have found one.
