Never stay here

Subject: Disputed Charges
My wife and I agreed to reserve three nights 8-14 to 8-16 at the Skyline. After arriving with a small baby (13 months) and two other young children, we found that we had a clogged toilet. The maintenance employee came three times to fix it with little success. During the first hour we were there, and after arriving back from swimming at the hotel pool, we discovered that $300 in cash was missing from my wifes purse. (Wisconsin Dells Police report #20044650) We realized we could not afford to stay the third night and actually tried to leave after the first night because of the theft, but we could not obtain a reservation on a busy Saturday summer night. When my wife explained to management that we did wish to stay the third night, she was told the only solution was to have a prepaid voucher sent to our address in Lowell, Mi. In turn they chose to withhold our deposit. ($143.19).
In short the hotel was poor (dirty) the toilet did not work, and we were ripped off from our room. Later we found that someone had written down the account # from my debit card as well and bottomed out my checking account. (Over $900.00)
After getting back from Wisconsin, we never received the voucher. When I talked to Management (3X), I was called a F^$%^*& Loser and was told to get a life.
In my opinion I should not have to pay for a service I didnt received. Because of my experience there, I dont intend on going back. My children were disappointed and my family was victimized. Instead of expected sympathy, I was treated rudely as if I was the problem. Thank you in advance for protecting the consumers involved.
