Memphis Marriott, Memphis

Went to two neighboring hotels before we came to this one. (Go to the Marriott before you go to any other hotel. Great hot tub and pool. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Memphis. So worth the money. It was a little more expensive than the others (maybe $10-20) but worth it. Staff is wonderful. Our phone wasnt working so we went down to the in hotel restaraunt and gave them our orders and they brought them up to our rooms! Before we bought the room, we got to look at a few. They even let us pick a higher floor! Great hotel, Great service. Definitely stay at the memphis marriott

I loved this hotel....I plan on stay here everytime I visit Memphis...The hotel has an indoor pool, which was good for kids to swim...there was a bar...which was good for the adults to unwind the whole atmosphere was great. The service was excellent...the room was even better...the only downfall was the room didnt have a refrigerator nor a microwave other than that everything else was great. I recommend anybody to stay here.

I disliked the Marriott Memphis, because of its service. My family and I had late arrival and we called minutes upon arrival re-confirming our reservations. However, when we did arrive at the hotel, we were "uncaringly" told by the front desk manager, "I don't know why you were able to make reservations. There are no rooms at this hotel." My family and I were not given any other help. We were left out in a bad situation in the middle of the night. We travelled such a long way to be so disappointed. HOW AWFUL COULD THIS BE!!

A good place to unwind, not too close to downtown and not too far either. Beds were nice and comfy, room service was timely and somewhat tasty.

I have planned a few business meetings at the Memphis Mariott. Was not impressed with the service. The special requests we had were not met. The room was not set up and we were told that we would have to wait for multimedia equipment to arrive because another group was using it. We did not get it at the time it was needed so had to rearrange our meeting agenda. We were still charged for the equipment although we were not able to use it. The rooms are pricy, without justice. My wallet was stolen from the meeting room as well. The staff was not very helpful in helping recover it. We were double charged for our entire bill and took several phone calls and multiple people to resolve the issue with the bill. Would not recommend this hotel for any business meeting.

I have never received worse service at a hotel. I may never stay at a Marriott again. The hotel manager called the cops on me because I asked to borrow a $5 computer mouse from the business center. Corporate gave me $ to apologize, nothing would make up for this experience.
